Posted August 11, 2008 Share Posted August 11, 2008 i will be buying gta iv in a months time or so because im a little low on money right now,and i was wondering if it will freeze every five minutes how can i prevent this happening all your opinions would be great thankyou. Machida Posted August 11, 2008 Share Posted August 11, 2008 It happens occasionally on the PS3. The Xbox has the odd crashing problem too, I do like the warning noise the 360 gives you though. Posted August 11, 2008 Author Share Posted August 11, 2008 ye well i heard things about the xbox 360 i read something you know and it said 360s have a 30% breakdown chance while ps3 only has 3%. also that the ps3 has better grapfhics and stuff but im worried that if i get an xbox 360 gta 5 might not come out on it. soz for being off topic. Weird thing is it froze but the car sound was still on. The dumbasses at funco land gave me a used copy instead of a new 1. They have some bs thing were they will automatically give you a used copy unless you make sure to tell them you want a new 1. An extra $5 is well worth a new copy...I now know. An extra $5 is well worth a new copy...I now know. i agree with you there too i had a playsation 2 i still have it, dont play it much now cause im all hype bout getting gta 4 aswell. but yea i got gta vcs ps2 used..they put it straight into a bag and i didnt see the cover. when i got home the cover or the plastic thing was half ripped then the artwork on the box had been almost scraped off and as for the disc it worked for a week..but then something went wrong. i bought a new copy and it was perfect and i still have it! but yeah back to topic! soz Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

What console are you buying it for... Mine never crashes in single player (I mean, absolutely never), but online maybe once a week if you're unlucky it may crash while you're in the lobby. Maybe the string is there in case it falls out of their eye? Many people have string attached to their glasses, which goes round their necks. This is probably similar. Who knows my friend.
