Hart
I havent even played MGS4, but I watched this, and it is the most EPIC thing ive ever seen. When Snake shouts "Liquiiiid!!" and then Ocelot shouts "Snake!" I knew this was going to be awesome. It brings a lump to my throat that this is their final battle. YourNeighborhoodKiller
I just got Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions in the mail eariler today. The game is very fun and addicting. I have yet to play Gray Fox, but I'm really looking forward to do so. There are a lot of cool levels and different variety of weapons you can use in the game. It's all the weapons from MGS1, basically.
SaintJimmy
holy sh*te. in order to obtain the Big Boss face camo/mask = Finish the whole game with -BIG BOSS EXTREME DIFFICULTY -0 KILLS -0 ALERTS -0 RECOVERY ITEMS USED -0 CONTINUES -NO SPECIAL ITEMS (STEALTH AND BANDANA) -AND BEAT IT IN UNDER 5 HOURS Holy piss. Also, i saw some mad videos of a corpse camo. All the soldiers freak out and run when they see it...and has anyone noticed, Johnny Sasaki in MGS4 (When he helps out Meryl) is the SPLITTING IMAGE of young snake? I believe that is the Big Boss-mask/camo See now I saw that 'corpse' camo in a youtube video entitled Big-Boss Face Camo + Solar Gun = Win or something like that and thought it WASNT the big-boss thing. So its a direct camo of what big boss would look like today? In his grave? lol. I would've expected it to be Snake Eater boss.

I tried but I failed and now I don't have the time for it because of the exams and this whole university thing. And I must admit I was quite shocked myself when I saw Johnny's face Right now I'm playing a little MGS3: Subsistence. I just love the whole jungle survival setting. No MGS game wll ever get old
SaintJimmy
Guys, I just got back from a good solid 4 hours of MGS'ing it, after a day out with the brother, raiding the pre-owned sections of several game stores. We came back with pristine copies of MGS1, 2 and 3. Goddamn, brings me back.
Long Haired Freaky Guy
Gabe Logan would be having wet dreams over this topic. Metal Gear Solid was probably the first game I truly played through 100% on the PS1. I simply loved that game, and actually miss it, but the only time I see it, it's too expensive to be worth picking it up again, but I may have to get it in the future. Am currently just playing through MGS2 again, and loving all the little easter eggs in the game. It's taking me ages though as I'm trying to find all the dog tags on my difficulty level, but I'm sure I've missed quite a few. I have MGS3, but haven't touched it yet as I told myself that I would complete MGS2 before playing it. I saw my sister's husband playing it though, and it looked like a fun game. Is Substance for the Xbox basically MGS2, but with some added extras? Is anything different in this game? Just I'm losing my PS2 for abit, but have an Xbox to play with and was wondering if to buy this game or not. Also, what is Twin Snakes for the Gamecube? [GTA Man]cycon77foamy[GTA Man]
The Xbox version of Substance is as you siad MGS2 + Extras. Twin Snakes is basically the first MGS remade with updated graphics and utilizes the MGS2 engine. So you can hold up guards, hide in lockers, hang over rails etc. Man i LOVE the MGS series bought a PS2 and when hunting for MGS 2 and 3. Found them both. MGS3 is a damn awesome game. Number 1 will always be the best. (Haven't played 4). Edited September 21, 2009 by [GTA Man]cycon77foamy[GTA Man]
Long Haired Freaky Guy
Well, I have a Gamecube and an Xbox, so I may aswell buy both of those games, thus giving me MGS1+2. As I said, I always see MGS1 so overpriced and not worth picking up just for the nostalgia, but if I get it for the GC then it's worth it.
