DX2069
first off before everyone is like there is already topics about this i dont care i wanted to make my own and to share this with everyone "New cities? Pfft! How about an entire state?! While rummaging through the Rockstar Social Club, a GTAForums poster uncovered the plane ticket pictured above (full view). Looks like Niko is headed to the fine state of San Andreas, famous for its lowriders and piping hot coffee. Whether it's the stuff of fan fiction or a not-so-subtle hint of content to come, your guess is as good as ours, but the ticket does rekindle last month's rumor that the exclusive GTA IV DLC for Xbox 360 will feature "new downloadable cities." What's curious is that the flight isn't destined for one of San Andreas' specific airports, but rather the state itself. What could it mean?" and i know all of you think this has nothing to do with anything but i really do i think that it has alot to do with the DLC and if not that then that will be the next game
Seddo
There's adverts in GTA 4 about flights to San Andreas and Vice City aswell as other San Andreas and Vice City Easter eggs, that plane ticket means nothing it's just another little Easter egg. Plus how harsh would it be for the PS3 owners missing out on a return to San Andreas even though it's exclusive DLC. I'm pretty certain the DLC will stay in Liberty. It is a pretty good find though. kidneyshot
My feeling about the DLC is that xbox exclusive ones will be something else than Niko's story. That would explain why Hollick doesn't know anything or hasn't done Niko's voices yet. Maybe first DLC will be xbox only about some minor character. Still i can't see the DLC leaving Liberty City.
mrcappo
NO! Wow imagine the size for the file to download its just like downloading a new game, plus why would Niko go to San Andreas when he has business there in LC? It would take a year or 2 to make San Andreas.. Just leave it alone man, I doubt it.

thecommander
Hey if this is true at least you would have something to spend your money on. I went on the US Air website and coach from JFK to LAX is $800 but I dont know if Niko will take the time to get the best deals.

I widsh he could see CJ but rockstar killed off all the old characters/storylines so the people who had never played gta before would not get lost in gta 4. Und3r5c0r3
Do you honestly think they would be able to fit all of Liberty City and San Andreas on a freakin DvD? Do you think they'd be able to create a San Andreas that is as detailed as LC before the DLC is released? The DLC isn't going to be San Andreas. Maybe the next GTA will be in San Andreas (did you consider that, Vitale51 ?), but the DLC definitely will not. Why the hell would they make DLC that is bigger than the game itself? This is ridiculous. If the DLC is being hyped up to be as big as San Andreas, I think we can expect a hell of a lot more disappointment threads after it is released. Why would it have to fit in DVD with LC? Those XboXers who want DLC have to get HDD. It´s downloadable dude. You won´t find it in stores. Of course they can create SA as detailed as LC, but DLC won´t be that.

I know what DLC stands for, but I thought that new content was saved to the game disk, like a patch or something. I didn't think they would sell it on a completely separate DvD either. I have never actually had Xbox live myself, so I didn't know that new content was saved to the hard drive. But that doesn't invalidate all of my points. Like I said, the chances of the DLC being bigger than the actual game are nonexistent. If people actually expect the DLC to be a complete, full-sized city with the amount of detail that Liberty City has, then those people will be sorely disappointed. More realistic expectations would be a few new missions, some new clothes, or maybe even a new gun or two. They might add some new land, but the chances of that new land being the size of San Andreas are, like I said, nonexistent.
The Elite Sniper
Firstly, Look at how detailed Liberty City is. San Andreas would have to be as detailed as that and it is MUCH bigger than Liberty City, I don't see them being able to make a whole San Andreas in a few months considering how long GTA4 took. Secondly, Why would the DLC be bigger and better than the actual game? That would be absolutely pointless. If they were going to do that they might aswell release a whole new game and make even more profit. Thirdly, What reason does Niko have to go to San Andreas? There was nothing in the story implying that he would be leaving Liberty City.
