Rocketkiller
As I'm writing this, it's 1:35 pm and I'm sitting in my house wearing a sweater, and I'm still cold. It's 16c outside, according to my thermometer. I don't think it's ever been hotter than 25c for more than one day, it usually hovers around 20c. Whatever happened to warm, sunny summer? It's been raining for the past 2 days with no signs of clearing up, and we get light rain at least once a week. I wouldn't be surprised if this summer was the coldest one we've had for at least a decade or two. Anybody else notice that it's been really freakin cold this summer? SyphonPayne
IMO this topic is a dumb topic it's not like we all live in the same place and temperatures can vary drastically depending on where each forum user lives. Hell some of the forum users right now are in the middle of winter while you talk about your "cold summer." Anyway no here in the US where I live it has certainly not been cold by any means this summer. It gets consistently 90F (32C) here practically every day and we have seen temps of 100F (37.7C) on some days.
Picolini
Global warming is a lie, etc. NO STFU Prepare for this thread to turn into an argument about that. As for my area, it's been just where it should be, imo. The past few days have been slightly chilly, but the rest of the summer was just fine. pimp_60cent
Yeah right. Maybe for you. Try living here in SoCal, specifically Palmdale. Shorts and tank tops. 100+ degrees fahrenheit .
Rocketkiller
I'm hoping this topic won't get into global warming. But I'm talking about north america here, I'm just curoius if anybody else has seen a much colder than usual summer. It's not like it was cold some days, it's been consistently cold the whole summer, which is very strange because the weather here is usually very erratic without any consistency. Creed Bratton
It is always too damn hot in my country. And it should be even worse in August, but not. The topic starter is right. This was really a cold summer. Last night it was raining with lightnings and sh*t, and today is cold like in the middle of a f*ckin winter

Otter
Here in Vancouver we've had a really nice summer - but no extreme hotness. Back in July we had a couple weekends where it topped out in the low 30's, but that's about it.

jedimario
As far as the summer as a whole goes, it has definitely been a few degrees cooler on average. This past week was an absolute scorcher, but today it's cooled down even more than before.

YourNeighborhoodKiller
I can't say I disagree with you. This summer has been pure, utter, sh*t for me. It's been raining at least one or two days per week. There is no sun whatsoever, and even if there is, it doesn't go past 85 degrees. Hell, I haven't even gone swimming once.
