¤FireStyle¤
Halo was originally being developed for the PC, I even remember reading previews about it in PCzone, they were talking about how gravel had it's own physics as it is kicked up by the vehicle wheels (none of that appeared in the Xbox version). That was until Microsoft got the good ole chequebook out and bought Bungie off and since then it became a Xbox exclusive with the PC getting the crumbs. Just another example of how plainly obvious it is that MS wants to kill off gaming on the PC and get us all using their shi..... erm xbox. Since then it has been heart warming to see PC gamers treating the Halo franchise with the respect it now deserves........ ie NONE. That is true. Back in the day halo was originally going to be developed for the PC....and on a side note I'm sure some of you prolly don't know that bungie them selves were a PC game company. --Vega--
I prefer GTA on PS2 and PS3. It's so easy to control, I have trouble with the keyboard.
[email protected]
GTA:SA was at home on both PS2: No bugs, ran well enough and the best controls i have ever used on a PS2 PC: Great mods, looked great ran even better, 3rd party MP and price. GTA VC and 3 where a bit of a mixed bag XBOX: Looked really good, ran very well, controls where a bit clunky but doable. PS2: Looked great for its time but it could have ran better, a little bit buggy on first release PC: Looked about the same as console versions but ran much better, mods and mp eventually came in droves. Abel.
I'm not sure about the graphics, fps and such since I don't own a console, but when playing a sandbox game like GTA, I have always felt better to have a keyboard and a mouse. It's just so much easier with the manual aim, not to mention the ability to reassign keys as per your style of play. FPS and racing games might be easier to play with a joystick, but the keyboard-mouse combo cannot be beaten when it comes to GTA. I MUCH prefer First Person Shooters on PC. Even if people have trouble with Mouse and Keys, you could always buy a game pad.

On PC you play how ever you want , but for console you have to have a joypad and nothing else.

trip
imo any game(1stp,3rdp) you play where shooting is involved needs to be have access to a mouse. i never understood how they could pull it off on consoles. i just played through sa and vc again for the billion'th time and enjoyed them both. finished up vc lastnight actually. are console people missing out on the aiming fun? think about it - if you never played any of the gtas on a pc using a mouse. you would still enjoy and be able to play the game just fine, but just maybe that mouse action adds another level of fun/play that you don't know exists. it might even be a more engrossing experience. this came to me during 'the shootest'(you know the one with phil before the bank heist) mission in vc lastnight. so yes - the pc is the best platform for GTA. it is the best platform for about every game - party games dont really work. sure you could play guitar hero or dance dance on your pc, but do you really want to? I just love how I can use controllers on PCs too. Oh, and how's GTA SA's online multiplayer holding up on the PS2?
