baptiste
Fatal frame is the game with the Chinese chick and the camera right? If so, then that definitely gets my vote. f*cking scared the living sh*t outta me. Silent hill was child's play compared to that. Even though that was still pretty scary. Doom 3 wins in jumps though. What are those worse games? Have you even played Fatal Frame? Silent Hill (with sequels) is gory and scary game, but not as scary as Fatal Frame. Tim Dog
I finished playing Silent Hill 1 about 6 months ago for the first time, good game, but not as good as Resident Evil 1 and 2, the best survival horror games ever. Both ain't that scary, just the shocking moment scenes. Fatal Frame 1 is scariest of all horror games. I played most of the RE series on PS2 & PC, I also want to experience the classics SH2 and FF2. I still need to get a copy of that. Hard to get nowadays. So my vote for scariest game I ever played goes to Fatal Frame/Project Zero 1.
brz59
I'd like to add 1 more game in here (forgot about it entirely before): Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. When I first played it, over 2 years ago, it scared the sh*t out of me, especially one place, where I opened a door, didn't suspect anything, but then the camera suddenly zoomed in on a hanged woman's face. It was, for me, one of the biggest scares ever. Unfortunately the later levels of this game sucked. At first, you were a detective, looking for a missing person in a very strange and creepy town in 1920's setting, but later it all changed to a stupid sneaking and hiding from stupid fish people and fish monsters. Good game anyway, very scary as well. Edited August 20, 2008 by brz59

gtathebest4ever
there was this game i had a rally long time ago on ps2 that was really scary but i can't remember the name. you play a little japanese girl in some big house and you're trying to escape, but along the way you find shocking scenes like rotting bodies, furniture being moved (but there's no one in the house except you) and things like that. i never played it much because i was too scared, but maybe it was because i was so young. I know exactly, what it is, but I think the game would have been better off without those fish monsters, even though the title says just that. Don Garcia aka NjNakedSnake
Can anyone name this game based on the following description, because the title has slipped my mind. I read it in a gaming magazine years ago, and it sounded cool, yet boring, but interesting, and confusing... As far as I remember, you play a girl with a dog/puppy sidekick who ventures to a big castle for whatever reason. Inside, there's a monster, and he basically chases you around the whole friggin' castle. I believe he was the only bad guy in the game, could be wrong, but you had to investigate something in said castle while avoiding this Frankenstein/Beauty and the Beast type baddie. I know, sounds f*cking wierd, I think it was a Japanese game, don't remember which console it was for. I thought the idea sounded pretty original. SLAYERMAGGOT
Definitive Postal Fudge Pack for PC (it include Postal 1, Postal 2, AWP, Eternal Damnation, Bonus Material) is the scariest game ever, Eternal Damnation and AWP is the sickest modification for a game, you can smash heads and blood sloshes out, you can cut body parts in lot of pieces, then you can see bones. The postal dude can pee at persons and some of them have to puke

TheSamurai Hobo
I couldn't even play Resident Evil or Silent Hill games growing up because they scared the sh*t out of me, hell they still do. So any of the games in those two franchises get my vote. I'm the same way.. I get scared when watching someone play these games streaming _________________ Silent Hill(s), Resident Evil (1/2), Fatal Frame(s), Call of Cthulhu, FEAR I get scared easily by these types, but if you snuck up on me and yelped, it wouldn't do much Edited August 27, 2008 by TheSamurai Hobo
Panz
Condemned 2: Bloodshot is one scary game. F.E.A.R. isn't that scary..it just gets damn weird at points like when the hallways change into bloodbaths and whatnot. And that damn girl. I've never played Fatal Frame, but I've seen the guys on 4 Player Podcast play it...Definitely scary. Anyone ever play the flash game The House?
