Democrab
I know you said no PC games, but screw you. Half Life2, having a headcrab jump out at you in the dark when your torch just went out from the power being used up makes you sh*t bricks. You're not gonna like Alien Trilogy, Alien Resurrection or AvP-games EDIT: I mean... When You come out of a dark corner and notice You're in the middle of a f*cking field of facehugger eggs, and notice they're starting to open up, the only thing that comes in mind is "Oh... sh*t...!" TheFMC
Ive played Resident Evil 2 but thats the only one I played... Ill be playing Resident Evil 5. I wanna find my PSX Games .
YourNeighborhoodKiller
Silent Hill and Resident Evil series used to scare the living daylights out of me. I never wanted to play any of them, let alone own them. To be specific. Silent Hill: The Room. So much strange and weird sh*t would go on this game. But now, I could easily play and beat these games without worries. Unless the difficulty is too hard obviously.
Hart
Come to think of it, MGS was quite creepy. Mainly because if you took pictures of certain things, ghosts would appear.
YourNeighborhoodKiller
Hart, back in the day, hell yeah. For example that epic fight with Physco Mantis. The screen would go black and make a weird, 'no signal' kind of voice. He also knew what the hell you did in your past, how many saves, ect. You would have to literally switch your controller to slot 2, for him not to control you fully. Gray Fox killing everyone in the hallway was intense. The part where you get surrounded by invisible soldiers I believe, in the elevator was quite scary. MGS2 was pretty creepy with Raiden, when Campbell would all of a sudden act weird. MGS3, was creepy as well, with The Sorrow, and such people as The End, mostly with that fight you did with him. MGS4 had it's moments as well. Going back to Shadow Moses gave me the chills. And I was all nostalgic.
original gangster
Why aren't you allowing PC games? System Shock 2 was pretty scary, especially with the default over-the-top creature spawns... you had to be constantly alert if you didn't want something jumping you from behind. Oh and I hate it in Resident Evil games where something smashes through the window as soon as you walk past it... as a kid, that will scar you for life. And I was all nostalgic. Oh my god, the hall full of dead soldiers was f*cking creepy. Blood all over the walls and floor, the corridor lined with bodies. Although that creepiness was ruined by my curiosity of zooming in on the dead bodies Epic fight with Gray Fox though, and Otacon pissing himself was classic. topdogkiller
I have to day the first three silent hills did it for me also the RE 1,2,3,0 and the remake of 1 which was a lot more demented than the original. Oh sh*t how could I forget psycho mantis in MGS1, the whole memory card thing stunned me and scared the sh*t out of me.
Hart
The worst bit was when they uncover his mask, and you cant really see his face cause of the angle, the tension rises then BAM! What an ugly f*cker.
YourNeighborhoodKiller
Never forget his theme music. Scary. Brings back a lot of memories. Seriously, it sucks they couldn't give him a more bigger appearance in MGS4, right after he appears after you beat Screaming Mantis, that could of been the fight. I prefer him way more than that other knockoff Screaming Mantis anyway. Hell, it was a female...
Creed Bratton
Psycho Mantis: What, where is your data? Where is it saved? There's no memory card! Damn! Your skills have improved. Or rather, your hardware Snake: Huh? Funny way to compensate for the scare it gave us in MGS1
Hart
When Donald Anderson, The DARPA Chief started to have the heart attack, I was like "Nooooo! Tell me more!" Not scary, but my heart was beating. (Ironic seeing as he died from a heart attack)

Capricornus
Games such as Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and Resident evil 2 used yo scare the f*ck outta me. Man, playing those games in a dark ass room with no source of light but the TV screen was scary as f*ck! But now that I am older, I obviously play these games with no problems. Ahh the sweet (urine) filled memories.

Don Garcia aka NjNakedSnake
Oh sh*t how could I forget psycho mantis in MGS1, the whole memory card thing stunned me and scared the sh*t out of me. Now can someone explain to me how that worked? I only read a little tidbit on that once, that said, for instance if you had a Yu-Gi-Oh file saved on your card, Mantis would say, "So you like Yo-Gi-Oh?" or something to that effect. What's the scoop on this?

Mantis is supposed to read Your past, by the game reading Your memory card, but I think it only works if You have Konami-saves on Your memory card (e.g. Castlevania). It Was a bit creepy, yeah. Also that when he moves Your controller

Also that when he moves Your controller Man, if he doesnt know what happens, he gonna get confused by "move your controller" He tells you to put your pad on the ground, and makes it vibrate, which makes it "move" along the ground. Very creepy scene.

Don Garcia aka NjNakedSnake
Does the controller actually have to be on the ground to vibrate? If so, creepy. If not, not creepy. I was probably around 15-16 and it f*cking scared the bajeesus out of me. almost 10 years later I still can't play it, tried playing it on the PC and ended up spammint alt+f4 and sh*tting my pants.
