Z Man 18
My GTA San Andreas won't work it says "gta_sa.exe has stopped working". What I've done so far is uninstall then reinstall the game and move all my mods out of the Rockstar games folder and into a new one. What else can I do? gtamodder
I think your using Vista, right? If so, do this: 1) Uninstall the game 2) Delete the GTA SA Folder (C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas) 3) Delete gta_sa.set (Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files) 4) Go to C:\Users\Your User Name\AppData\VirtualStore\Program Files\Rockstar Games\. In there is the SA Folder in there. Delete it. 5) Install the game
CCPD
Did you purchase the game in the shop or downloaded it from the Internet? Did you put any mods in the game? Are you using No-CD crack? Read posting requirements.
Naseem Srour
If you're on XP, then delete the [.set] file, located in : My Documents / GTA San Andreas User Files.
Z Man 18
gta modder. I did everything you said to do but it still doesn't work, should I delete my car mods off my computer and download them again? Also I have installed GTA SAMI, and the GTA SA Patch should I take them off also? Please Reply
Girish
Get rid of the patch and see if the game works. Btw, what patch is this?
Z Man 18
The one that downgrades the game to version 1 to play with mods
Girish
Well, try a fresh install with no mods and no patch.
CCPD
After uninstalling the game you need to delete GTA San Andreas folder located in C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games. Only then install the clean copy of the game.
