D- Ice Posted August 9, 2008 Share Posted August 9, 2008 NO YOU WANKERS, IT'S MY 1,000TH POST!!! Yeah, I've finally reached my first milestone, and officially become a GTAF OG. Just like to thank all the awsome members of this site who I really enjoyed posting with. Not only was it cool posting here, but also so much of you guys really helped me out with real problems, and reading your serious discussions and chat also helped me sort out similar situations I found myself in. Loads of you also been a great inspiration - and with all the idiots out there on the net and in real life - restored my faith in mankind! Anyway, I don't have a 'respect list' because I respect everyone here, except the worst of the ignorant n00bs, wannabe online tough-guys and generally people with an identity crises - for whom I am kind enough to have pity. Here is a simple list of members I like from the top of my head - it's by no means the only people I like, as that'll be almost everyone here. They just the names I can remember right now. skarface1013: Love your GTA gang wars games in the SA section bro, had many great nights arguing there while being partly drunk and disappointed at no-one taking me out. Great stress relieve putting my anger arguing which gang will win haha! Flesh-n-Bone: Love reading your posts in the GTA 4 and SA sections man, we all need someone to disagree with. girishb: Probably the coolest Indian guy I know. Most your posts are thought-provoking, and love the different perspective you offen provide. 28RedEyedCrows: This guy got the best, most original ideas for the next GTA. Your 'Complete Freedom' section was awsome to read, as well as being inspirational in helping everyone there think about what exactly the want in the next GTA. It's fresh air to read your ideas after the stuffy stink of the old recycled ideas which are starting to go off. Tony Mozzarelli 80: Your well thought-out and intelligent discussions are a pleasure to read my friend, and you never fail to put a smile on my face with your witty comments. You always bring a light-hearted feel to any debate while making great contributions - for that you definately have my utmost respect man. Don Garcia aka NjNakedSnake: We don't know each other too much man, but you one of the pillars of intelligent posting on this forum, which makes it a much cooler place despite the work of so many n00bs. HolyGrenadeFrenzy: Haha, first of, I love your name man, it never fails to make me chuckle everytime I read it -it's f*cking genius. You are a real inspiration with all your very wise and thought-provoking posts here. They make a lot of sense (even with your complex language which people with English as a second langauge like me offen not understand ), and have really helped me in forming my own opinion. Also, your great advce to all sorts of problems members often have, have really motivated me to go out there and sort out similar problems which I have. Thanks very much my friend, your posts are much more helpfull than you might think. Svip: Like HGF man, you also been a great inspiration. I have utmost respect to your very open-minded nature and unending sympathy to all sorts of people and their different perspectives. People like that give me hope in a world where there is so many small-minded hate-mongerers and ignorant extremists. It's great reading the objective and detached perspective of your posts, I can only hope me and many others can put away a lot of their prejudices and see things from a wiser, more objective standpoint. The world will be a much better place if we get more people like that. K^2: Probably the smartest guy I know - I still remember when you logically prooved 1+1=2 hahaha . I also love reading your very well-informed arguements in General Chat and D&D. You must be like JT's worse nightmare, as people like him want to show all GTA players are gore-addicted psychopath retards, thanks to prolonged exposure to such evil games. Thanks very much man for all your encouragement, and heads-up for moving there to study as well as your info on Exeter Uni. That really meant a lot to me my friend, and if just 1/2 the people in the UK are anywhere as kind as you, I'll be a very happy man. I also enjoy reading your intelligent and witty posts here, you sound way older than you are - wonder how you'll sound when you finnally get your debtures lol. Mr. Someguy: I not only loved your great GTA 2020 idea, but your other posts also really inspired me to put pen to paper and write about my ideal GTA in 2020 - even though probably no-one other than you read it! Thanks very much for giving me the permission to copy some parts of your idea, and thanks again for all your great ideas for GTA, they all been a great pleasure to read my friend. Typhus: You have a lot of my respect and admiration man - even though it seems so many people on the forums don't appreciate just how intelligent you really are. Despite disagreeing with you offen in the past, you seem now a lot more open-minded, or maybe I just misunderstood you at first. Your totally unique, and always very well thought out opinions are always a fascinating read, and your courage and motivation to always post them despite the immediate dismissal by some small-minded people is really inspiring to be true to myself, and i really hope one day I too can just say what I feel like that. Carbine23: Your writing skill, intelligence and imagination is way beyond your years bro, I'm still reading and loving your "The Man Who Once Spoke" story in writter's discussion, and your also one of the intelligent posters on General Chat, with well-thought out and original posts which are very interesting to read. Lots of respect lil' bro. Phew... That seems to be everyone on my mind right now lol. I'll add others as they come to mind as my typing fingers are really sore now, and not from fingering some skank!
