Thun_d3r
may be able to play with consoles? (PC & Xbox360 in Games for Windows LIVE) You have to pay if you want to play with 360 users. Not anymore you don't. Games For Windows Live is NOW completely free, whether you want to play against other PC gamers or with console gamers if the feature is supported. The entire service is NOW FREE. do I need licensed windows in order to play LIVE???
P-Thunder.
Thats a whole different matter. However, these boards are not for warez talk. Please take that somewhere else.

freak2121
Thats a whole different matter. However, these boards are not for warez talk. Please take that somewhere else. You do know that in some countries windows comes not licensed even though you bought it, take Iran as an example.

mkey82
LOL you are going to make me fight through every objection aren't ya I believe MS now allows PC gamers to send a RROD signal from their PC's to the 360's . Now this is a feature I would gladly pay for. 100$ a pop. More if necessary. Edited August 11, 2008 by mkey82
Dhatz
GFWL is announced to be free if you didn't know. EDIT: at least i found SOMEBODY above this post who knows that. Edited August 11, 2008 by Dhatz
ThunderKnight
MS now allows Xbox live users free online multiplayer for games that use CROSSPLAY, so if they make GTA 4 crossplay that means they will have to give all XBL users free online when playing GTA 4 and MS are way way too tight for that. This is limited it will be there till the new update comes for X360.
ipswich58
If you look on the main page of the GTA4 website. It has the PS3, Xbox 360 with live and GFW with live logo. So GTA4 will use GFW live.
Dhatz
we know that. I can say there is no interest in cossplay on the PC side of thing. that would require PC version to be same sh*t as Xbox.
Fnorg
I don't wanna play with X360 users on a no AA server. Those bitches'd say "Goddamn PC fa**ots, mouse and keyboard requires no skill. f*ckING ni**erS!". In those exact words. Let's face it; amount of mature Live users < amount of twelveyearolds that take racism way too lightly.
Smiler-Online
Live is gonna be improved greatly for PC this fall it will have a much more PC Friendly interface, which is developed for KB and Mouse rather than the Xinput Gamepad old interface on the left new one on the right Now that will be something special!! for more details in the new GFWL interface and features visit http://arstechnica.com/journals/thumbs.ars...or-windows-live

[email protected]
Hopefully the console fanboi's will grow up and realize cross-platform multiplayer is inevitable, like the crash of the matrix
Wis3boi
I have to confess I am curious about GFWL. I have never really experienced it myself. So GTA 4 will be my first GFWL game if it makes online simple to use without restricting the options for other people I can't see me having a problem with it. I have to say, it works great on Halo 2. Very easy to use, and allowed users to set up dedicated servers. Pressing the Home key on your keyboard brings up your profile and allows options for joining other players, sending messages, etc. There is also the average server browser you see in most PC games. And now that Gold is free for PC users, you can get all the achievements and specials functions that console users have to pay for. It's matured since it first started. Smiler-Online
I like the current features, but the UI/interface isn't that great, where as the new one, looks perfect for PC gaming! Also, I think that the new market place features may be interesting to see, If I can download games in a similar way to Steam then I wold be intrerested to see that if they have higher standards in the new GFWL marketplace then I might buy a few games from there, Plus it wont be running constantly like steam is! I cant wait for this new interface NEW UI RELEASE DATE: it has been confirmed that it will be released in november... (anything to do with GTAIV by any chance?)
