Vlad's return.

This is set After everything that happens in IV, Vlad is alive and there's a shootout between him and Niko in a warehouse owned by Vlad.

 

 

Chapter 1 (Old enemies)

 

"He's behind that pillar! throw a f*cking grenade you pricks!" Shouted the mob boss in deep anger. "Niko Bellic, It's been fun, you prick!" shouts the mob boss. Niko screamed back in a cheerful yet serious tone "Yeah, it has been Vlad, but the fun is over." The grenade that Vlad's henchman threw landed right next to Niko, Niko kicks the grenade back at the henchman and curled into a ball and put his hand over his head. a huge explosion is heard from the grenade, pieces of cardboard and wooden boxes fly everywhere and the Bullets and ammo that was inside the box exploded as well, sending bullets flying everywhere. It all happened in seconds.

 

There is silence from the henchman and Vlad who were screaming and shooting seconds before... Niko yells "Are you dead yet? this is alot of work trying to kill someone as fat as you." ... ... ... it is quiet... Niko peaks his head out a little to see if he is dead... BANG, a bullet hits the pillar and shrapnel hits Niko's face. "ARRRGGHHH, I'll KILL YOU!" Niko screamed. Niko started to reload his SMG, while reloading he heard police sirens in the distance, he didn't have much time. Vlad yelled; "We'll have to do this again sometime you smelly Serbian bitch" moments after a door slammed shut. "You coward." Niko yelled. Niko got up and ran towards the door that Vlad ran out of. When he got out into the empty streets Vlad was nowhere in site. "well... i better get out of here before the cops arrive." Niko said quietly to himself.

 

This takes places 3 hours after the warehouse shootout, it is now 8 Pm.

 

Chapter 2 (Assassin)

 

Niko turns on the news after he finished plucking a piece of shrapnel from his face from the battle before. The news caster looked excited and spoke like he was thrilled about the new news."Civilians in Bohan heard a explosion and gunfire coming from an what was thought to be an abandoned warehouse! It turns out the warehouse was filled with ammo and weapons from Russia!!! police said it belonged to the infamous mobster Vlad. Police do not know the whereabouts of Vlad as he has been missing for 8 months. One witness described a man walking out of the warehouse with a SMG and a face covered in blood. He was roughly 6ft and 150 lbs. was wearing a black suit and sounded Russian" (click) "Enough of this sh*t." Niko exhaled tiredly. "I need some sleep."

 

Niko awakes to a phone ringing at 4 AM. It was Roman. "Hey Niko! Want to go bowling!?!?" Niko responded frustrated as this was the 80th time Roman called wanting to go bowling since the past 9 days. "No you dumb f*ck, i do not want to go bowling! Don't you have anyone other than me to go bowling with?" Roman hung up. Niko fell back asleep and woke up at 11:37 AM... with a silenced gun 2 feet away from his head. "This is new." said Niko. "Vlad sent me to kill you, said you were getting on his nerves." said the assassin. "get out of here and i won't kill you." Niko said confidently "Ha! Your a funny guy, Time to die!"whispered the assassin. Everything for Niko slowed down. The assassins finger was slowly but surely pressing down on the trigger. Niko lifted his foot and kicked the gun out of the assassins hand, the gun went off and shattered Niko's Cell Phone. "I liked that phone you f*ck." Niko grabbed the surprised Assassin by the throat and pinned him against the floor. "Tell me where Vlad is! NOW!" Niko yelled. The assassin spat into Niko's face. The assassins hand was moving towards his coat pocket, Niko did not notice as he was too focused on the assassins face. "You shouldn't have done that prick" Niko said. Niko's grasp has gotten tighter on the assassins neck. The assassin pulled out a Needle and stabbed Niko in the arm. Niko's vision became blurry and he couldn't stay awake. "Well... pl...ayed... Mr.A..ss..assin..." Niko said before passing out. "Vlad is going to be thrilled when i bring him back alive and not dead." Niko awakes in in a dark room. He can hear people talking outside the room, sounds like Vlad's voice.

Theres no possible way to bring Vlad back he was shot in the face, Also he would not have henchmen because he never had any in IV and also because he was a lowlife with connections

What you could do is write how he survived Niko's attack, maybe Niko didn't shoot him in the head and Vlad escaped and went into hiding.

Its impossible, you can't dodge a bullet to head at point blank range.

There's still the odd punctiation error from the first draft, but I don't think you really need an explination for Vlad's return. This is a work of fiction after all. You could add a pair of fingerless gloves in and it would still work as a piece of fiction.

... Its taking place in the GTA 4 canon so it would still not make sense, perhaps you can re-write your story to be about Vlad before Niko came?

I'm not going to rant about Vlad surviving, since the members above have expressed it plenty of times. The writing, I feel, is okay. Sure there's errors, but the WD is for members to post their works and leave them open for comments and tips from other members. The story needs work however, but I feel that this piece is better than some of the things I've seen posted in WD.
