I have been playing for about a week or two and when I load the game, it says, "Diamonds are a girls best friend" I am getting no more missions and I have done all the missions for everyone except Roman, im about 76 percent done with him. I am get all of Brucies cars, completed assassin missions, delivered all of Jacobs work, got everyones rating up so they are doing special things, but I get no missions. Everyone I call wants to hang out but not have any missions for me. At one point I was getting chased by the cops and this was right after I kicked in Bernies door, he had text me and told me to go somewhere but I could not get there in time and I have heard nothing from him ever since and I have not done one mission for him. I have not gotten all of Stevies cars, but I am going to go work on them, I dont remember seeing Stevie anywhere, but I read this forum and I am going to go home and try to get him. I have met up with the girls off of the internet and everything. I am only 68 percent done with the game and I am tired of just running around doing the cop missions for no reward. saintdave Posted August 8, 2008 Share Posted August 8, 2008 Welcome to the forums When you say you have done all missions apart from Roman does this mean there is a R mission icon indicating there is a mission you need to do for him? If so completing this should advance the story. Stevie is a character you never actually meet, your only contact with him is through texts you receive from him. BAMitzBRADERS Posted August 9, 2008 Share Posted August 9, 2008 If i am correct, Diamonds are a girls best friend is the mission whre you have to kidnap gracie. to do this you must go to an internet cafe and find the pink car she is selling, which has her phone number in the details. then you must call the number and kidnap her. if you have already done this then you can trigger the next mission by calling gerry. I have already completed the diamonds are a girls best friend mission, and it said complete and I got paid, nothing has really happened. I found the Stevie messages and have been getting his cars for him when he asks. But the only people that call me are people that just want to hang out and I have almost done every possible activity with every person, except I have not slept with Kate yet, she's stubborn as a mule, yes I even got her hammered and she still wouldnt give it up lol. Okay, so now you have to call Gerry or Packie. Not sure which one. Don't select eating or bowling... just hit Call. I tried to call Packie and no one is answering unless I wanna just hang out. I have collected all of Stevies cars and am almost done with the cop car missions. When does the story line pick back up?? saintdave Posted August 12, 2008 Share Posted August 12, 2008 You say you were in the middle of doing a mission for Bernie? From your description it the call was about going to pick up the Infernus as a reward for doing the jobs for him. Tyedyeskyguy Posted September 19, 2008 Share Posted September 19, 2008 (edited) If you have not responded to Bernie yet, then that may be the problem. Have you picked up his gift to you yet? If not, go to the alley behind his house and get in the car parked there. You can't miss it. If you are not to that point with Bernie, just go to his house. I bet the yellow mission marker is there. Also, one of Bernies missions requires you to meet him down by the water at Pier 45. You can only meet him there durring daylight hours.
