They controlled Vice City and owned many businesses. And they were kinda a Mafia Family! But a small one lol. Tommy Vercetti was a really good protagonist. He reminded me of Tony Montana. They had warehouses stored all around Vice City for 2 years where Vic had all control over the city with his powerful empire. Plus Vic is more badass than Tommy for me. I've always liked the Mafia better than anything else. Besides, the Vercetti Gang owns pretty much all of Vice City. I liked the Yakuza, too. Especially in real life. It was also cool because Claude worked for them. I liked the Yakuza in III, but not in LCS, for obvious reasons. They were once powerful in Vice City, but lost both their leaders. They owned the whole Vice City by the end of 86' and had several assets. The Yakuza were pretty strong but after the death of their leaders it was a little hard to come back with their surprises. The last we seen of the LC Yakuza they were without leadership and were involved in a turf war with the Colombian Cartel.
