It was said that it was partially CJ's fault he got killed in 1987. But they never explained exactly how he died. Was he driving drunk? Did the Ballas kill him? I've always wondered... Atari-Dude Posted March 20, 2017 Share Posted March 20, 2017 What if Tenpenny blamed CJ for Brian's death and told everyone that it was CJ's fault and saw it first hand when really he murdered Brian? He keeps telling it to CJ to get him to do what he wants. CJ seems reluctant that he really did it in the beginning of the game but after everyone continuing to blame him, he caved and believed it himself.
