What is the problem here ladies? We've played with less players before.. eh. It's done with, what is the point in complaining about it? I doubt anyone wants to do a rematch. IF you had a big deal with having less players.. you could have all just left and made a new game and invited them and then ask a few players to leave, invite a HG... etc.

well sh*t, everyone had connection problems during the finals and kept getting kicked, i didn't even get to play hardly! I didn't get a rematch.. Seems like once alderney has a player or two missing they it's a big deal but if the other teams don't then be it. Rematch = unfair, you each won a match, big deal?

OK, guys, about ALDERNEY vs ALGONQUIN I've been informed about the situation. Just reschedule. It would be cool if u could do it tomorrow (just 20 min. after all). If not tomorrow, sunday at the least so that next week (anyday really) u can play the final BOHAN ( ) vs .......

 

My advise in these situations is to try to fair play and work out a solution behaving like (almost) grown ups

 

We had a similar situation in our match and I'm sure that Bohan can testify about our fair decision:

First game we had 7 but Dukus couldn't connect, Bohan had six. So after the first lobby we made a new one, and Dukus couldn't join. I decided to go 6 vs 6 with M. We would have been 7 vs 6 with Dukus...

(And Dukus is probably quite upset with me right now... and he's right. He left after that , SORRY DUK, don't know what to say to be forgiven by u...)

Second game we had 7 with IRISH-TIGER and they had 5 cause explicit had to leave. IRISH is PurpleKush's mate in RL and he was supposed to play with us. But being a 7 vs 5 we gave him to Dukes.

I know ryby was online but he wouldn't accept invites, also RichCFFC was there, not sure though if he was there after the second match (everyone was online tonight). If Dukus wa sthere we could have played 8 vs 5, but hey, is that cool? Not really... Anyway a 7 vs 6 is acceptable, an 8 vs 7 too. But 2 men down it's complicated. Nevertheless in the second Cup Dukes played a lot of matches with less men, cause we are Fighters yeah!

We won the first match (3 turfs in Dukes), crazy.

We lost the second match, I mean, we lost it in the second match

Things were still even till 10m to the end but then a TSUNAMI caught us.

We didn't really follow our tactics tbh, I didn't very well...

Noname got fat and slow during his vacations so the mid turf MAYHEM went down the drain

And thanks to my dumb new rules about weapons options, we, a professional rocketeer team, got pwned with standard weapons.

About the record cleaning don't ask me, I died till the very last second... 6/10... Killed stev and Kayla a couple of times and that should count as double (12/10?) lol

Cap messaged me and told me he got d/c. I think nn had the same problem... It happens. If u guys have any accusation to do please PM them, but remember that we're all DDZN and the Cup is for fun... and the supercup tags are not really made of solid gold ffs... they look cool though, cause I'm a great designer

 

Funny moments: well M, actually u killed Mike not PK, and I ran to the turf to gain it but at the same time I was aiming the rockets to the steps. Didn't see at all the stupid flames in the ground...

When I got to that turf everybody was looking for blocking lord, I went to pick up a sniper, scoped the area, found the sneaky man in a bush and sniped him. Got the turf, hid in a bush and stayed there blocking till the end. Don't know why bloody epic battles kept goin on around the turf cause I was blocking it. Nobody came to look for me. Not a hard spot to find after all. I even spent a decent amount of time messaging during the match...

Got 2/3 in the end. Killed lord and Kayla, got SMGed by Kayla, killed by stev, and burnt by collateral damages. I was hoping to rack a good score for GHOST tag but then 10 deaths in Bohan...

I hate standard shotties! I could have killed u M down there, but it takes 10 seconds to reload that piece of crap.....

Oh well, it was fun... Got a bit pissed we lost when we finished (and my gf hates me when I get mad cause of the game) but it's all good now. I'm already getting ready for the third Cup (and the little final...).

unfair maybe but next game 7 then 6 vs 7..them 7... everyone honestly crashed as i ended up host? i wnt first!

Just reschedule the second match. Algonquin won the first one. I know that 8 vs 6 sucks but Dukes played like that before and never got to reschedule. Next time work out better solutions. I mean if u really didn't want to play that 6 vs 8 u should have messaged immediately Algonquin and then left the game, new lobby, maybe looking for an HG or find an agreement before that. Maybe I'll come up with a rule for next Cup, but right now all u can do is to play the second match. Sorry Champs. I know that u can make it. BTW what's the score of first match? Roughly?

Right guys, first things first.

 

Twind hosted and Byron couldnt join when we started inviting for the half 10 start, so i hosted and had everyone in 10 minutes later apart from Blazoor, we waited for about 20 minutes before i asked if i could start which i think is more than fair. That is what HGs are for in that situation.

 

I wasnt going to get narky but Joe its only a game, we gave it plenty of time for you guys to sort it, the game is an 8v8 competition, we had 8 you guys didnt, shame about Bowxa and Blazoor, obviously Blazoors could have been avoided, silly billy but i did as you guys asked me to and wait even tho my team were telling me to start. We have played with 6 before wasnt ideal but we got on with it and took defeat gracefully, you guys were unlucky not to beat us.

 

As for 2nd game i missed cos i had to go to work, i have to believe Byron when he said he got booted because why would he not want to play two games on the trot, his disconnection ratio is ridiculous.

 

Im sad that it has turned out like this and i will be happy to rematch but only the Alderney game because there was nothing wrong with the Algonquin one, no rules were broken.

 

I know its frustrating joe but just remember, were on here for a laugh.

 

@ Rnz, how the feck did you not see me when i killed you in first match, you bumped into me while walking by me and i found it weird so i turned round and you were walking away ha ha, easy kill.

Lets be clear here, Alderney is not disputing the results of the first match. Alderney started the match 7v8 because Blaz00r was having issues with the update and Algonquin was getting restless in the lobby, no problem. When the match started Bowza got kicked immediatley, I messaged Boca, he didnt respond. again no big deal, we lost, it is what it is. The problem is that when we did finally get another good lobby Alderney had 8 Algonquin had 6. The match started and again Bowza got DC'd immediatley so it was 7v6. Next thing we see is Goonah leave, then one after the other like dominos Algonquin starts leaving. This is why I said that when they had the upperhand it was all good but when the shoes on the other foot...........

 

We will reschedule the second match but Alderney will not make provisions for Algonquin's connection issues, if a match starts unbalanced it will be played as is, i think thats only fair.

 

BTW, to bad we lost that first match because I was owning

Cool twind, i know you messaged me but that was about 6 or 7 minutes in and thats the firs i noticed bowza had gone, thats when i came onto msn.

 

As i said i cant speak for rest of them but we all play together on a regular basis so i dont think people are going to leave because they think its unbalanced. I may be wrong but i really hope not.

 

Anyway i look forward to sunday, i dont want bitter fellings ruining inter gang relationships twind, i made every provision when it came to the first match starting, i kept waiting, its not like i kept hitting x to start. So i would hope if the same situation happened on sunday then you guys would at least give us the time we gave u.

It was changed because of the disaster today it starts as 6 VS 8 Algonquin had more people. I reckon that match shouldnt be included because after that it was 7v8 Alderney had more and then Goonah left and the rest of the guys on there team left. But it is oh well. Also Twind am I a HG??
