...i hardly did have time to play on GTA through out the weeks or keep in contact constantly....but i really did make the effort to play on the weekends because it was something i did really look forward to.

 

I know we were the most un-organized team, but that didn't really spoil the experience for me at all!

 

If i was more involved with a more active crew in forums etc, then i still would've been involved!

 

 

I've had RL issues, im studying full time & working, but one day at the weekend was hardly something to moan about if things didn't go great!

 

Kush and Tjb we're pretty much there when they said they could be....and that was fine with me!!

 

I kind of liked the fact we didn't have any plans before each game, cos it meant we played differently!

 

 

I've always enjoyed the DTW games i've been in, even if they didn't go our way.

 

 

Fair enough, the final wasn't ideal, but really and truly, it was pointless waiting around for another week if people's attitudes were the same.

 

I would've liked M and Joe to play, but hey what can you do?!

overall DTW was pretty cool...there was some really cool moments

Doc DTW was never a waste of time. We had so many succesful cups and fun moments. This cup has simply been the best and most organised and most mature video game experience I've ever had and I'm sure everyone else can say the same.

 

TBH i blame a lot of this on the decline in GTA IV rather than the decline in the cup, the way it is run or the members. I remember I'd spend hours in FM looking for spots I could use for DTW, I still have about 7 I have never used .... i was saving them for the cup lol

 

And YES we all could have dedicated the time we put into this somewhere else but wheres the fun in that?

I also have only once said that I'd come when I didn't when something big came up. In the final I would have loved to have played but i had a lot of work to do for the next day and like the idiot I am i left in until sunday night.

For me this was the first cup and the first properly organized event i did in a year and half that i own this game. Absolutely not a waste of time for me, I had fun and memorable moments as HG.

 

Hope to play again in a similar event very soon with you all.

And then Alderney Vets hopefully we get them all to join up to play previous champs say bohan and broker?
