In the Algonquin match we got f*cked up by the R* game engine! Ex was hiding on a roof at mid turf and there were NO CARS spawning that were high enough to get up there. Only Faggios, Coupes and Sedans. Twind and I were running around the location for 10 minutes trying to find a suitable car...but nothing. So I ended up tossing molotovs onto the roof where Twind had spotted ex only to hear from ex in the lobby later that 3 of them had only missed him by inches when he had no health left!

 

But the pre-game lobby and chat were hilarious as hell...

It's like this: I started second match without being sure that stev was in, then we realized he wasn't there and instead of making a new room right away I kept playing hoping he would be back soon (thought he went for a pss or something lol) but he came back only after 20 minutes cause he was suddenly caught in a serious family emergency. 8 minutes after the start I asked in the chat for a restart and only Joe answered saying if we could get an HG to continue. HGs were all unavailable and playing in the other match (I tried inviting exMo, rnz and TheBruceter).

So, cause we were already losing badly and cause I wanted to avoid forcing Bohan into a restart that could lead us to another DTW Cup DDZN vs DDZN argument, after chatting with Dukus I decided for a forfeit, left the game and gave a win to Bohan.

Then, since I didn't write any rules about forfeited games, I asked to the Bohan guys in the chat if they would give us a decider match or if they wanted the title, cause actually a win in 2nd game with that gap (around 3000$) is by the new DTW rules a win that would have given Bohan the title without the need of a decider (even if it was a 4 vs 5...).

In the chat Bohan agreed for a decider to be played in Bohan in two weeks (cause Joe can't this Sunday).

 

So, now I'm asking Joe if we can play this Sunday and start it at 9pm.

If he can't we'll do it in two weeks and start it at 9.30pm.

 

Personally I'd prefer to play the 2nd match again and then eventually a decider but I can't force Bohan to repeat a match cause I was enough dumb to not restart the match after 1 minute when I realized stev wasn't there.

I did ask for a restart in the chat after 8 minutes but such demand might have looked suspicious cause we were losing badly and I don't want suspect shadows casted once again over this competition. So, probably, the best thing to avoid more issues is to play a decider. Winner takes it all.

 

Btw, for those who weren't in the chat, the reason cause we didn't play the decider yesterday night is because Goonah and cap went offline and tbh I'd prefer a final with both teams having a full roster.

Thanks man. great playing with you guys. I am amazed how well i played even being DC 3 times in the first match. That would have made the first game very very close. it could have gone either way. Each time i got DC, when i returned, the base i was blocking was taken. Each time.

Always good playing with ya Capi. The first match was intense within minutes you had tooken 3 turfs leaving us with one then we managed to take all 3 back giving us 4 all in the space of 30seconds?

We lost both matches and we are last I was more optimistic at the beginning but it's playing, at least i won a new tag for my sig ;] when you'll updating Riko pls add the new skull too..

And what a big mistake I did in first match..after I killed trist, I forgot to reload my shootgun so when Joe was there, instead to blew his fast fingers from trigger, I was reloading!!

i didnt say i couldnt play next week, i can play when i want, i just don't wanna be playing organised fights on a sunday, when i wanna be sleeping, right here go's id rather keep my job then play this cup, you don't get paid for winning this cup, you get respect, and respect aint gunna fund me to stay in my house, do what i do for a living, and survive all in all, im sorry, u may think im taking this to seriously, but i did say my days of competative gaming are over, i dont mind playing in this cup, but when we have to re arrange, because your teamate ( no offence steve ) left, doesn't mean we quit all the match? yer we didnt agree as a bohan team to kick steve straight away, because we thought he would come back too, but we should of done now, you should of got anyone to play, doesn't matter, its not our problem, we were happy to play on whatever our enemies where like, we still and i think, we would of won that match, had u have,

So ya know, im really pissed off we have to play another night, i know its only an hour of my time, yer yer, but last sunday, i had a mate round, we was happily playing cod, he was going soon anyway, regardless of that, i shouldn;t have to make my mate go home, coz he dont wanna watch my me play possibly 1hr 30min of 1 player gaming, its just disrespectfull to a rl best mate, sorry, but i do care more about RL then DTW or gta as an all, sorry, i love this cup, and love doc for all of it, but my days are over, and i had hoped, where we had won or lost the cup, that i wouldnt have to play again, no more, finito, now i have to play again, not go on gta all week, till 9pm, get my arsed kicked by steve again, and have me waste my valuable time, in either spending time with my best mate/ getting high, or sleeping, really eats at me, sorry doc, if im there on the psn list then i will play, i might be in stoke all weekend, so if im not there, play on, do whatever, i dout cap will be there anyway, but i think p.k and kayla could make it, so do whatever, its bin great!

 

But things like this, just puts me off nowadays, and all the D'c'ing just sh*t!

I can't be arsed with this, and i can't be arsed to quote myself, i must of said sorry doc about 2 times. ohwell im not letting this disrupt my RL. i was stating an opinion, and now its all due to Dzn issue's, no it isn't, its 1 rule for some 1 rule for another, M stated or Cap stated that we played many times with a man down most of the game, sometimes all the game it happens, i didnt say nout else after that, if im away play the final still thats all im saying, ive done my part!

I feel I've been caught up in something bigger than this DTW but just want to say that I wasn't implying that you left because you were losing but that regardless you should have played on. If you were winning would you have left and granted us with a win?

 

Also above you clearly stated that you believe we should let you replay the bohan match so you didn't give us a win at all. Tbh idc about being champs or anything like that, tbh I might not even play...

 

Joe is right about RL being far more important than here but that dosen't mean here isn't important... but anyway I'll let u kno if i'm gonna play on sunday as it's the last night of my holiday and I got a lot of sh*t to do that wil get done better If i leave it to the last minuite...
