1st Game was a bit laggy, But a Well Fought Battle, in the Historic Battleground they call Bohan

 

Both teams didn't deserve to lose!

 

2nd Game we played with 1 short for the full 30mins! In Dukes, Man that was a Well hard Match, I always had Ex and Anti at one turf, and Bowza,Ash,Irish Tiger and Byron at the other! Did my tree in lol! We lost by $40 odd dollars!

 

Well The last DTW finals, we have always used, People from other teams who have finished or out, Remember Alderney v.s Bohan DTW2, We had Riko and Global!

 

And there was no other HG online, Scarface went offline!

So yer, we had no choice!

 

3rd Match? Again, No team deserved to looose! Well Fought!

DTW Tales:

 

Match #1: Not much to say in this one, the Warriors locked down their home turf. Cap ghosted home turf, I owned South turf, middle turf was not the slaughtering fields it usually is and north turf was the turf most fought over. Mo got kicked for a few minutes and Kayla came and went from the game a few times.

 

Match #2: Wow, just, Wow! Kayla DC'd at the very start of the game so the whole match was 5v6. Amazingly Bohan was able to come back from a $1400 deficit and took the lead until Dukes took the airport turf in the closing minutes and went ahead with the $100 bonus. Bohan just couldn't get the turf back after a couple tries and time ran out.

 

Match #3: Since Kayla couldn't hold a connection Dukes agreed to drop 1 player to make it 5v5 but SCAR-FACE had to leave making it 4v5. In talking to Bowza over MSN he decided to allow nn4e to be a HG for Bohan. Bohan was able to gain a $800 lead in the first couple minutes so we decided to fall back and just defend 2 turfs and hold out for the win. Joe was on FIRE, just mowing Dukes down. nn4e and I held our turf for the whole game, and he stole 75% of my kills . Dukes was able to get 3 of 4 turfs in the middle of the game to shrink the lead some but Bohan got it back to 2 and 2. Dukes lead an all out hail mary on the Bohan home turf at the end, there were bodies and lakes of Dukes blood everywhere. Oh and we realized we set up a 30 minutes match in the middle of the game but decided to just play it out.

 

 

Was a great series of games to bad about all the connection issues. Brava didn't get in one game and Kayla was in and out all night. Big props to Dukes and thanks to Bohan for letting me help out in the win.

I know I suck but surely some of you must like me for bringing up your scores.. Riko, I'm not sure if I've ever killed you. Stev150 likes to use my head for storing bullets in. Who else kills me alot.. ex, M, Twind, Bowz oh yeah nn4e killed me a few times even tho he was on my team. But no disrespect dude, it was good to have you on my team, and Dukus too bad you couldn't get on tonight we really needed you. Rob, Dave, Jerry and boca it's been fun.

 

Man time for new paragraph. Well, it was the first time I logged in for two weeks so I was kinda outta practice. My girlfriend's switched jobs and is always around in the evenings now (much to my dismay, .. shhh!!) When she realized how much GTA I actually play, she quickly branded me a boring vidiot. Seems now I'm forced to "entertain" her evenings, which I just have no idea how. Man, it used to be so simple.

 

Anyways, that's my excuse. Trying to explain to her that I have an important GTA game going on? I guess she just doesn't understand what could be so important about it and why can't I just play tomorrow or some other time.

 

Anyways cup's done. I'm proud we were able to bring Alderney's prestige down and rub it's face in sh*t and come in fourth place.

Congratz Bohan!

 

The first game was a bitch. I was arguing with my GF most of the time, then suddenly I get a "no ethernet cable conencted" message and dropped out of the game. When I could paly I had f*cked up spawning points, which means everytime Twind killed me at the south turf, I was starting some blocks behind the north turf. Everytime I killed him, he started right next to me...

We lost that match badly, caus instead of the (my) "let the mid turf epty and atttack the others" strategy, I should have trusted in Cap's infamous spot at the garage turf and went 2-2-2 on the other 3 turfs.

 

Second was a hard fought game... well not for me. Anti and me took the silo turf and defended it the whole game. If there would be a "Fortress" trophy for the toughest turf to take in the cup, Anti and me would have deserved that troughout the cup. Ever since we started with that strategy (think since we played Broker) the stats for us 2 went crazy there. Cheerz Anti, had a blast teaming up with you there. The "drive-by assasin" and "sneaky-shooter" combo gave a lot of headaches.

 

3rd game was quite close, great fighting Dukes. Looking at their roster there, we didn't had too much of a chance from the start. Had fun in this tournament, was a pleasure to play with all of ya.

Great games Dukes. Congratulations my fellow Bohan warriors!

 

This really could have gone either way. Both teams have every right to be proud. What I find amazing is how two teams could get to the same place from such different places.

 

Dukes went from 5th place to 2nd in the final week to sneak into the playoffs (very well done). Then they beat a strong Alderney team to make it to the finals.

 

Bohan coasted into the semi's, but had to pull off a miracle win to get into the finals.

 

Dukes had their entire team from the day the names were "pulled out of a hat" (must be nice) and worked their way into and through the finals.

 

Bohan had a full 7 player roster. We lost 2 before the first match. An unfortunate set of circumstances costs us another player. And the internet/connection gods costs us two more players in the middle of the finals (Brava and Monster). We kept getting help where we could get it and incorporate them into our strategy and adjust with their strategy (worked out great). We also picked up another fighter along the way (Thanks Joe). Ended up playing the finals with only 2 original warriors ( )

 

Point is, when you take out the lobby issues and forum bickering, this is a great tournament (Thanks DOC!). There is no winning formula. Alderney won 2 in a row with the same team, we won with a team that was kept together with duck tape and super glue. Thats the beauty. Any tournament, any of us can take the whole thing.

 

It was a pleasure playing with and against all of you.

 

Special thanks to Twind, for all of your help along the way. You were clutch each time we had you in a game. Noname, thanks for helping us win in your home turf.

Then I jumped down right infront of your rocket when I thought you were somewhere near the gas station and trying to sneak up from behind.

Time was running out so I was in a rush to kill you, a bit more sneaking might have been the better option.

BTW, while I was still in the air, I saw you with an RPG equipped right next to where I was landing... when my character was bailing and laying on the floor like a turtle you pushed over I knew I was f*cked, LOL.

I came out in that game, just to have fun with you. I could have pulled the old heli/middle turf (Ghost) move, but i wanted to "leave it all on the field" and have fun. I knew you would go to that turf, so that is where i camped out. I was 7/2 in that turf and 0/5 running around like an A hole to other bases. No Crowching in the last game (except to hide and kill you the one time you mentioned in the quote).

 

A lot more fun to run around and kill/be killed. I still believe Ghosts win this thing, but i am pretty tired of staring at a wall or the sky for 40/90 minutes. Next tournament, i will be a seaker (maybe ). A drunk/one eyed seaker, but a seaker none the less.

Actually it was 3 V3 (Cap, Joe, Twind) and 2 V2 (Kush, NN only last match).

I agree you guys kicked ass.

 

I think i speak for my entire team when i say our most proud game was our only loss. what we pulled off in Dukes 5 vs 6 for 30 min and down by $1400 was amazing. More amazing than the vicotry against Broker (in the same set of turfs), because that was 6 vs 6.

 

If the tie breaker were $$$ we would not have had a third game (which would have been a shame, cause that was a great game). If we win the second game, same thing. So, it worked out (from a fun perspective) for the best.

 

I also have to say this:

 

DUKES ACTED LIKE A BUNCH OF GENTLEMEN WITH CLASS. We only had 5 playing in the last game until scarface left, then Bowz suggested/allowed (not sure which) NN4E to play as our HG. That was very stand up of them. That shows a team who want to play the best for the victory. Not sure if NN got any solace in the fact that after all the "LAG BS" they suggested/allowed him to participate (as an HG) in the finals anyways. not as good as going there with your own team, but i thought it was a real CLASS ACT on their part. I tip my hat to you all. I look forward to playing you all again.

Yer 3rd Game, Me and Cap Raced to that House and Gas station, and Found Ex and Anti, Killed them both, Incoming Nash, Hahah Boom,

 

I got 6 kills in 2mins, Was a really hard match, forget about my Scores, It was really Hard, And i think the line-ups were pretty much even, both teams had Ace shooters, Anti was my nemsis in the finals!

 

I didn't join Bohan Because they were leading! i didn't join Bohan Coz they had the Best Shooters (Coz on Paper they were NOT the strongest team) I know who was and it was Broker, not just for Steve, but for the TW Legends in that team!

 

I joined Bohan, coz ever since DTW started, My fav place was Bohan! always has bin, Yer Alderney was my Home in the first 2 Cups, But yer Bohan was the place to be, plus they were playing with 4 original Warriors all the way through!

I just realized the same thing, since Kayla wasn't in it.

Still a kick-ass roster, we just wanted to get the thing over in the same night, actually I was happy that me and Byron finally both could get into the same game.

 

I agree, you did great in Dukes. (although not at Anti's an my turf )

Did you find BowZ or did he kill to many people from up there BTW?

 

It was my fault that we lost that bad in Bohan... I should have never underestimated your block spot there, I was sure me and BowZ would find you earlier (at all, lol) and hoped you waste most of your top players on the mid turf which we were supposed to leave empty throughout the first minutes of the match. The try of that strategy (I suggested) literally broke our neck there.

 

Again, congratz Bohan. It was a great final, although my GF killed some of the fun for me caus arguing with her while playing cought a lot of attntion and guys are not that good with multitasking.

I also assume she pulled the wrong cable when she tried to fix the internet-connection of the computer, which cost me a few minutes of the first game. Stats are still right though, I was still looking for Cap at the garage when it happened, without having any gunfight before.

 

BTW, thanks for helping out Scarface, even if it wasn't on our side, lol.

I'm just messing with ya... I ain't mad.

But HG's signing with teams is something that shouldn't be allowed IMO, since you not only take away trophies from players that never got one, it makes the balanced teams in the beginning more unbalanced. Still, there is no other way to do it, when a lot of your original roster is leaving, can't participate or whatever.

I'm happy that my team could play like it was ment to be mostly and we only needed HGs in a few games.

Big up for Byron aswell, who never moaned when he couldn't join a game and even stayed online in case we need him.

I'm also against HG's joining teams. Bohan did have a special case mind, losing lots of people so its fair enough, but with adding Twind & Joe...thats a lot of info and i was worried of how much they learned about our Dukes strategy when playing for us once.

Bowza honest to god there was no comunication about "Dukes Strategy" with Bohan. I played for so many different teams and so many different games I cant tell you who's strategy was who's. The only things I focused on in this cup was my play and keeping the teams i was playing for brains on the money.

This was the beauty of the people we acquired, we never asked nor did anyone volunteer any strategy from team with whom they played. I personally asked other teams how they played our enemies on a few occasions (same with Dukes btw) and almost every time was not given any info. But no one played with us and gave us any insight (not that it would have mattered) every game is different.

 

The only thing we had as a huge advantage in this cup was this:

 

I HIRED A STRATEGIST TO HELP US FOR THE ENTIRE TOURNAMENT.

He is a highly decorated captain and was willing to spent countless hours showing us how to win. Here is one of the videos we used to help us win this DTW.

 

 

 

NOW THE TRUTH HAS BEEN REVEALED.

 

I think it is now clear what role I played. The most vital role in getting it making sure IT happens, but not THE one who made it happen. (in case you are not sure who I am talking about, look for the guy with the egg )

I Got Given the oppurtunity to sign for a team, when Doc stated, Because bohan lost 2/3 players all Cup i thought they were best to join! I know who i would ov joined if Cap didn't ask me first, It would ov bin Broker, but ya know, Im in it for Fun, Dukes Would ov beat us, if you had all bin on gta, 1hr prior to the matchm like Bohan was

 

Ex, Everyone knows Where Bowza hides, I didn't know how to get up there, till Cap showed me in FM an hour before, But me and Kush had endless duels with Irish and Bowz, Bowza behind the boxes, and Irish with them God damn RPG's!
