Ok, I apologize for the unfriendly behavior (especially against you and NoName), on which it was aimed at mainly in the first place! There are some work and relationship related things that are pissing me of in RL lately, so I am close to the edge at the moment. I felt offended and started firing back, since it felt like you were trying to make us sore winners in one of your first posts.

 

 

Still, I stick with the point I've taken and contributed in here too many times now. If somebody would have told my team what was going on for your side earlier, I would have a different attitude.

 

About the "invisibility problem":

You couldn't see me and nASH and we couldn't see you, but the rest was visibile to each other. Since I didn't block a turf and nASH went 6-7-0-3, I'm assuming that he couldn't have possibly blocked a turf throughout most of the game for you so you couldn't take it. For all the others of your team, all of our team must have been visible if I assume correctly.

 

About the "lag issues":

I think we all witnessed this in cups that we played before, without complaing afterwards. Of course I have no idea HOW BAD it actually was for team Alderney, but since I met all of y'all (except Dukus of course) at least once in the game without a lag and in clean battles and witnessed you a lot of the time on the turf I was guarding from a distance and AbSo nearby, with a look at the pretty even stats (kill/death ratios) I assumed that it was an even match here, where you just didn't play very organized, or had bad luck with your spawning points. I also know that when you loose a game by that much, that your/my/everybody's ego is looking for further excuses.

 

That's why I still stick with MY opinion.

 

Anyway, if my team is going to see these things else, or feel provoked enough to replay this game, it's a gesture of good will and a democratic decision that I WILL recognize.

 

BUT: I still will let Byron go first in the final... or a possible rematch of the semi finals now.

Like the TW-Russians would say: "I'm not in the mood for this!"... anymore. This bitching in here about some smalltime games that should be fun to all of us, is something that is currently ruining my mood even more.

Also, I think Byron got kicked everytime I joined a game and I got kicked when he joined. Since he sat out, I will do the same now, caus everybody in our roster should have the same chance to play no matter if one is a better shooter than the other, or the other has less beer in his system. I will sub in case there are still problems, but hope the rest of the tournament can go down without me.

 

If R* isn't going to adjust their servers, or all of the participants got a router that GTA likes, I see no point in keeping this on. I never have any problems like this, or bitching about stats/lag/tactics/HG's in the random TW-games that we play for kickz, so I stick with them.

It's too late anyway for me when the games are over and need to focus on other things more right now than some PS3 games. Still, kudos for Doc for organizing all this, I had a lot of fun in this and the past tournaments, between the bullsh*t every once in a while.

I too want to finish this tournament, but this is Riko's baby.

 

He has to got to and from Italy. He is dealing with a big loss. And probably has his mind somewhere else.

 

He loves to strategize more than anyone in this forum. He loves the ENTIRE process of the DTW, exept dealing with people like you and me bitching about stuff.

 

If he does come back on Saturday or Sunday, is it fair to him to crunch a week's worth of stuff into one or two days. Plus, i know for a fact that he spends time during the finals week working on those coveted tags. There are still a few that he stated are "pending".

 

Either way, i know he is not playing in the "Finals" and we could play and he could postpone the mini-final, but i feel it would be a great sign of appreciation ON ALL OF OUR PARTS towards him to wait.

 

Put yourself in his shoes and answer this one question:

 

If your grandmother passed and you had to travel back home (another country) deal with the loss and you come back the day of the cup, would you be happier to know that

 

a) everyone waited for you and postponed the tourney for a week

 

b) the cup is that night

 

c) shut the F* up cap, i dont think this much.

Points taken... my last living grandma died last summer, the other one already way back when I was too young to realize it.

 

I also just figured that he probably got a lot to say about tactics for the Broker team aswell, so one day preparation for that would be a bit low aswell.

 

For me the date don't matters too much anyway as I will be warming the bench if it's me or Byron again.
