Unvirginiser and Vercetti were the only ones who made mature replies, while the rest of you guys were acting very childish. Grow up. If The Unvirginiser and Vercetti21 were the only ones who made mature posts, then that would mean that your post is, well, childish. But what was wrong with my post? It's a section of an internet forum about a video game! People come here to relax and write stories they feel like sharing. I'm not sure what the problem with the "Writer's Discussion" thread was. It would have fit in well, in my opinion. As for the rules topic, even if it doesn't get pinned, Carbine deserves commendation for the effort he put into it. I can see a bit of sense in the locking of the "Updates" topic. It was kind of like the "Now Playing Thread" and many of the posts there would fit into the "Ideas" thread. I think everyone is overreacting at a few small things. The only one that bothered me was the locking of the "Writer's Discussion" thread. The sense of community in WD is better than anywhere else here, dedicated thread or not, and I'd hate to see that get f*cked up. If there's a gripe about new member posting lots of substandard topics, efforts should be concentrated on helping them, not complaining about it. If the problem's with the layout and structure of WD, then we need to discuss it like adults, given that this is easily the most mature section of the whole forums. Without trying to sound like f*cking Gandalf or something, deep breaths and a step back is needed all round, or we'll just sh*t up the best part of GTAF.
