Coming of age/ teen high school drama/ buddy flick/ road movie/ film noir

Starring Neil Patrick Harris as the main protagonist who has accidentally filmed himself in

a comical sexual situation and has accidentally sent the tape to his father who is a rabbi

played by Mel Brooks who has told Harris that if he doesn't knuckle down he's going to

be sent to military school. On the way to retrieve the tape Harris meets a friend played by

Dan Akroyd, who he ends up owing money to, so Akroyd goes along with him for the

journey to make sure he doesn't get cheated, but during the journey they realize they have

a lot in common, and it is soon revealed that Akroyd is on a journey to meet up with his long

lost brother played by Martin Lawrence. They have never really seen eye to eye, and during

the course of the sstory they come to realize the stupidity of racism, and are helped to do so

by an angry priest played by Steve Martin

Hahaha, Ice Cube it is. I'm sure he could pull it off without compromising the integrity of the

plot. He could make stereotypical statements about Akroyd being tightly wound and unable to

dance, and Akroyd could come back with the generalization that Ice Cube must like fried chicken

and smoke marijuana. Made all the more funny by the fact that they're both correct, and Steve

Martin teaches them that it is Ok for them to have their differences as long as they acknowledge

them and realize that they are still brothers.

The main character must be voiced by Samual L. Jackson. He should be stereotypical take-no-sh*t, tough but friendly and warm inside guy - too manly to show his true feelings for a comical ghetto-boy gangster played by Eddie Murphey, who is actually one of the good guys too - he just didn't get oppertunity in the 'hood.

They meet a Russel Crow, and many self-consciencely multi-cultural black/white jokes ensue - which are actually purely based on the racist black or white stereotype.

Oh, and Jackie Chan comes in as the newly arrived foriegner from Hong Kong to Kung-Fu kick lots of ass with them and further the course of good verses the evil baddies from overseas.

Oh, and a dash of toilet humour, and you got a killer GTA!

But in all seriousness - the theme should be the main character is a simple hired gun. He does it for money and because he enjoys seeing a fellow human beings guts and brains strewn all over the street. He's no good guy. He has no story. He just does the jobs.

This might sound boring, but the storylines come from the many people he works for. He is simply a watcher - and observer, and the gripping storylines are those of the gangsters he works for and how their criminal lives intertwine and advance.

That way, our connection with him is optimal - we are playing the game for exactly the same reason he's living his life. We like killing those virtual enemies and running away from the cops so we can get money. All GTA's since GTA 3 have miserably failed to provide good things to spend your money on, but the next GTA should be very different. Also like him - our connection with any storyline is purely that of what we see gangsters talk about in cutscenes and their stories. We are both distanced observers.

@ D Ice, i couldn't agree more. The protagonists personality should always be left somewhat

ambiguous, and that way you can impose your own personality and ideals on to him as opposed

to the other way around. They say that the personality provides an emotional attachment but i

say that it requires an emotional detachment.

I want the gangsta plot to return. It would be cool if they could put all the plots from previous GTA's together. But mobster and gangster would cause controversy and there I'd prefer gangster.

Thanks bro, it's great to see I'm not the only one who would like that.

Niko was a great character, and despite being recently new to the US from a totally different country myself, and can easily remember my amazement and confusion as soon as I got to NYC, I still can't relate to Niko as much as Claude, simply because Niko has his own agenda.

Claude - for the most part, wanted what i did - to kill the Cartel, get to Catalina and see what happens to my various employees and their stories.

The choice system in GTA 4 is an ingenious idea - but just imagine it with a character who you imposed your personality onto - it'll then truely feel like it's you making those choices.

Yeah exactly. I'd like a system akin to that of Knights of the Old Republic, where your behaviour

affects your personality in the way that you want. If you coupled that by adding in some variety

in story outcomes, it would be really good. I also feel that the game, should not give you all the

flashing lights and bells sayng 'KILL X OR Y, WARNING THIS WILL AFFECT THE STORY'

But instead i feel it should all be done without your knowledge, that way you are forced to go

with your own feelings and do what you think is appropriate. For instance you see many people

in the IV section who say 'should i kill playboy or dwayne? what benefits do i get?' and that kind

of thing will not help you become attached to the character if ultimately you are letting other factors

make your decisions for you
