My worst side mission is "8-Track" My Car easily gets blown up and has bad handling like the Super GT.Burglary is pointless and keep holding left alt then the boxville has bad speed

Playing on PC with Mouse+Keys I originally thought everything involving flight was bad, but on my second 100% run of the game (and 4th time through the storyline) even "destroy targets" wasn't too bad (but I settled for bronze).

I was about to say "Vigilante" but after a ton of failed attempts I finally thought about grabbing a Rhino from the restricted area and the mission became a walk in the park.

In general making up alternative strategies makes many of the missions a lot easier. "End of the line" is anoying because of the many ways to fail and the length of the mission. Many of the other missions are boring as they involve long driving trips and not much action

But the worst one for me have to be the "Blood Ring" event, no matter how many times you play it it all comes down to luck

monster is nearly impossible without cheats devil.gif

If you don't have a problem with PC lag that's causing it, I think you're trying to drive too fast. You can go pretty fast uphill, but take it nice and easy on downhills and making turns, and you should get 4th or 5th place.

Don Peyote is an character intoduction, but the drive to and from Paul and Maccer is made too long.

Use a Maverick. It will take 4 passengers (I only found this out by reading it somewhere before the last time I did it).

I am currently stuck on Grove 4 Life.

I have attempted it about 10 times, about 4-5 of these times that cünt Sweet got run over!

It would be far easier to do this mission on your own!

To save yourself a lot of problems with that mission run into your garage in Grove St. when the mission starts and wait for Sweet to follow you in there, then once he's in there run out quickly and the door will close trapping him inside. You can now proceed to take your time with the Balla territories without him doing such helpful things as walking into your line of fire, getting run over by spooked NPC drivers, etc.

You can do that for the first part of Beat Down on B Dup too. You have to go get Sweet after you have taken over the gang territory, but you can do so at your leisure, picking up health and armor first if you need to. Sweet also has full health when you start to fight B Dup's guards.

I tried to use the Sea Sparrow to pick up Sweet, because I wanted to try to shoot from the air, but when you get to the location it warps you out of the helicopter and puts you on foot. It's a pretty good location, though, and I was able to fight pretty well.

Thanks.

Completed Grove 4 Life eventually.

I have now finished all main story line missions, and have quite a few side missions, etc to do.

Oh, and End Of The Line is one heck of a long mission!

It's such an enjoyable game. Real value for money!

The mission I hated most was Black Project were you had to sneek into Area 69 for Truth. I hate long stealth missions and then the fact that half of it was timed. It also sucked b/c if you got caught, especialy on the outside you were screwed. I was stuck on that for a good while.

My favorite mission was Freefall. That's the one where you hijack the plane before it lands in Venturas to prevent Salvatore Leon from being murdered.

I think I like this b/c I loved the jet in the game.

What got me on this is how come they have muitiple people in the jet, but I can only have myself.

Wahooo! Just completed 100% for the first time (and without cheating, I might add). I just thought I would mention that, as i'm pretty chuffed biggrin.gif

Black Project was one of my favourite missions actually.

So, to sum up, after completing 100% of the game, I would have to say the worst mission for me was either level 8 of the trucking, that's insanely hard.

Or Vertical Bird. That was so unenjoyable.

i hate two missions, i hate the mission where you have to go on the roof of zero's store and shoot all those airplanes and i hate the one where you need to drive that toy plane and shoot those peopl in those vans, so annoying!!

I can relate to that, Air Raid is the most annoying, but I now find Supply Lines easy as ABC, if you do it in the right order and have a good aim

I forget what its called, but the one where you have to kill a guy for tenpenny, and he takes off in a helicopter, flies over area 69, and lands on a parking garage only to steal a buffalo, and tear off. That one was a bitch and a half until i realized i could land below the helipad, and kill him before he gets the car. Also, NEVER FLY OVER AREA 69! Seems obvious now, but i though Id lose the mission if i did a turn around area 69. Thing is, i Almost got the guy once in the car chase with five stars on my ass.

The other really annoying one for me is the one where you parachute onto madd dogg's house with Wuzi's guys. The gunfight sequence is tough, but the real problem is when your target takes off in a camaro, and you have to chase him though the hills in the jaguuar-type convertible. I cant tell you how many times i killed his whole gang only to lose him at the first turn. I had to get my driving skill all the way maxed out before i won.

The third most annoying mission for me is the go go kartrace. Those things are the WORST vehicle to drive in the game.

The most annoying mission is definitley Supply Lines. I cant do it. I can get 3 and even 4 done but I always find a way to get my plane on fire before the end...

The stupidest mission is the one where you have to drive a LOOOOOONNNNG way down to that small town to take photos of T-Bone, Ryder, Toreno etc...gosh I lamely failed it once and the next time I just enabled the flying car cheat to get their nice and fast. Boring mission.

I dont get the hate on "Just Business", I thought the action at the end was really fun, shooting down the Motorcycles etc. Fun mission. I agree about Wrong Side of the Tracks. Smoke cant shoot for sh*t.

it's misappropriation if i remember right. if you sneak up the cliff you can use a sniper rifle and shoot the guy. just make sure it's a head shot, so you get him with one kill. then sprint over and pick up the dossier. mission passed! biggrin.gif one thing i like about that mission is there are a lot of different ways to finish it.

the toughest mission for me to get right was freefall, but the worst mission (if you can include side missions in this) would have to be the valet mission in SF. so easy, so repetitive, so boring! photo opportunity is pretty bad, too, as is snail trail. Both for the same reason - too much driving for too little action!

EDIT: oops, didn't notice that this was an old topic that i had already replied in! oh well.

I hate the one where you have to steel the helicopter to carry that one bank car. Taking down the national guard was hard enough, then the STUPID flight to the STUPID car, then the STUPID flight to the STUPID airstrip I dispise after toreno made me learn to fly. Then it turns out that the car's onfire because you have troubles landing it and it explodes and you have to do it again. Just to freeking get run over by a car and loose all your guns and your remaining money that you have in dept with the 4 dragons casino. Yes it happened to me.

The only main mission I faltered at was End of the Line on my first time through when I borrowed my friend's PS2 version. I newver actually beat it on PS2. When I got the PC version it took me like 5 tries. I always died at the fire filled room when I had to kill the baddies really fast. Twice I died about 20 steps from the front! Also for some reason the mission for the Casino Heist where you had to steal the plans I always died while driving back. Also the PS2 version. On the PC I found it easier to do for some reason.

After about an hour of flying I found it not very hard to pilot an airplane. I even took a Rustler and for a few hours landed it in a bunch of weird places where it was very hard to do.

I never however needed to cheat to beat a real mission. I never finished the side missions like vigilante.

As stated a few times above the worst missions are the ones with any or all of the following charactersitics:

- Long, boring driving (sometimes flying) from Point A to Point B (with not even a wanted level to keep you miiiildy interested, all though it does give you a good chance to listen to some of the cool tunes on the radio)

- Missions where your NPC friend/associate can't shoot worth SHIAT! Which drags the missions on longer than necessary.

- Any Missions involving STINKING RC TOYS!!!

- Missions with pointless timers

All in all a lot of the Missions in GTA: San Andreas are enjoyable re-dos (especially some). But there are a few that are just so bad, so un-interesting, and lackluster that probably make for a bit of a hump or obstacle in the way of some people re-playing all the misssions from the start.

Snake Without a Tongue

I hated all side missions. They were repetitive. I've never finished the last trucking mission, or firefighter.

The only storyline missions I hated were Supply Lines and the one where you have to take back Maddogs crib.

Supply lines was seriously fked. It depended on the locations where the targets spawned whether or not it was even possible to pass.

Maddogs crib was a long drawn out process of parachuting, shooting, etc that could immediately go to sht if you screwed up driving the crappy little pink car at the end.

I also hated driving forever and a day to get photos of Jizzy, Toreno, etc. Pointless mission.

I had no problem with the shooting in San Andreas. If you concentrate on driving the NPC character does exactly what they're suppose to. Catalina was a great shot. I beat Wrong Side of the Tracks the first time before even getting to the tunnel. I thought that was the cut off line for the mission for a long time. Now I enjoy jumping up on the train after it leaves the tunnel.
