He is neither stopping the car nor is there any damage on it I'm f*cking frustrated now If not for the "amazing" car physics, I would have completed the mission by now....but the terrible in-car aiming mechanics comibined with the physics is making this simple mission damn difficult for me Is there any easier way to complete this mission ? Many of the car chases in GTAIV are scripted, meaning the slower you go, the slower they go, the faster you go, the faster they go. When the end of the script is reached, they will stop the car and try to escape on foot. That's when you get them. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
GTA_Loco Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 If you just try to follow him, he will at a certain point significantly slow down somewhere, although he won't stop at any point. Shoot at him when you get that chance to catch up on him, and that's the only time he will stop and try to plead for his life. From there just finish him off. Gunde Posted July 20, 2008 Share Posted July 20, 2008 Get a small and fast car. Oleg is a great driver and his car is pretty fast. Also you can't damage him until a certain point in the chase where he knocks over some stuff and blocks an alley. So save your ammo and concentrate on driving until after that.
