I honestly can't believe this is actually still in debate.  You need to give it a rest.  It never had anything to do with 9/11.  But you people are so stuck on this "tragedy" that you have to associate it with everything that happens in the world.  Never mind the fact that we as a country were not by any means innocent.  We're not untouchable as so many of you seem to think.

 

Now, before you go off and tell me how insensitive I am, think for a moment and you'll see that we're not a faultless nation.  Yeah, it sucked.  So what.  It's no worse than what we've been doing to other countries for years.  And how about the fact that we terrorized the Native Americans when we moved here and pretty much took over their homes?

The simple answer is: No. There are no planes in GTA IV, but not because of 9/11 videos.

 

I would imagine it was more to do with the physics of the RAGE engine, and the use of Euphoria. Same reason bicycles didn't make it in either. I would imagine these kinks will be ironed out for whatever comes next, but they won't appear in the DLC.
