Ret-RAT Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 Melbourne, Victoria, Australia is a great place for a city setting for GTA Series as it contains most aspects that a game Like Grand Theft Auto would contain. It can be renamed as bay view because the city speads around an Entire bay called the Bay of Port Phillip I know I have banged on about Melbourne as a setting in a variety of Posts but I firmly Believe that Rockstar games should set a Crime game set in another place instead of conforming to Liberty City, Vice City and San Andreas. Anybody like to expand Ideas about it. explain what it might contain, any new gameplay ideas, Protagonists, vehicle lists, missions and Parodies of Australian Products or Australian Culture (like the ads you hear on the GTA series). Maybe this could still go in that topic though....then again, how many VC and San Andreas Stories topics are floating around? If any Australian city makes it into a GTA, though, I can't see why it wouldn't be Sydney just for being the largest and most internationally known of them. Ret-RAT Posted July 19, 2008 Author Share Posted July 19, 2008 That other topic felt a bit like a joke where the larger Australian cities are there is no desert between them because of the murray darling basin, if you want to know where the out back is it is top of the state of south australia, and predominatly Western australia and Northern Territory I want a Gta game set being serious so no stupid riding on kangaroos and everything like mad max and crocodile dundee, australia is not like that at all.
