Things I didn't like in the settings and rules at all. There were pedestirans and cars on at the first game(s?) and the time of day and weather was random... So maybe we should gather up the proper settings and rules on this topic in case someone else than DeadApe will be hosting again? I think these are pretty good settings for it: MAP: Any (Preferably a single island, so zombies don't spawn in other islands with humans in the start) TIME: 10 minutes (Not too short for humans and not too long for zombies) WEAPONS: Pistols Only/Weak (It's sometimes frustrating when humans immidetly pick up shotgun and M4's) TIME OF DAY: Morning/Midnight (They come out at night....) WEATHER: Foggy (Makes a better mood) BLIPS: All (Humans will have their HUD's and radars off, but zombies can find them with radar. Maybe it's their killer instinct or something?...) AUTOAIM: Disallow (It is impossible for the zombies if auto aim is on...) VECHICLES: Off! (At first it was supposed to be parked, and humans are allowed to drive very sloooooow. Apparently it seems to be impossible, they just keep ramming zombies over and over and that pisses the zombie players off. So think it would be better to have them completely off.) PEDESTRIANS:Off (The human players are the only survivors in this city. And it would looks stupid if people were just walking around minding their own business when 10 half naked zombies are stabbing a fellow citizen.) RESPAWN: Near (So the zombies can keep in action and they don't have to run for miles.) And we've been playing with this "Once you die, you're out!"-rule for humans. I think it's better to just kill zombies and be killed as much as you want for the ten minutes. Then you'll be a zombie and someone else can expirience that fun. But maybe a variation Attack and Defend (or whatever it is called, where human defend the building and zombies raid it) could use that rule? DeadApe, when you're back, could you quote that, edit it as you like and add to the 1st message on this topic so everyone can easily find those settings? I didnt Host....XNG Branmuffin hosted but left and it made me leader then he joined again! It looked like i host but i didnt so dont blame me! czechmate24 Posted July 28, 2008 Share Posted July 28, 2008 I was playing a small game of zombies today(unfortunately my xbox froze) and we finaly solved the issue of respawning and sprinting for humans. HERE ARE THE NEW RULES FOR HUMANS -When the game starts humans CAN sprint, shoot and etc. -When a human dies for the first time from a zombie or his own mistake he CANNOT sprint at all. -when a human dies for the second time, he's OUT of lives and OUT of the game, he has to leave the area and go far away. -THIS MEANS HUMANS HAVE ONLY TWO LIVES AND HAVE TO SURVIVE FOR 10 MINUTES. SOME OTHER RULES FOR HUMANS -Try to stick together as much as possible -NO swiming, when humans swim zombies cant attack them and it gets really annoying -Try not to drive vehicles, and if u must drive slow and short distances, but we prefer you dont drive at all These rules will make it more fun for zombies and a greater challenge for humans, and if the humans can survive for 10 minutes you get a cookie. The music was from Marlyin Manson - seizure of power from the Resident Evil Soundtrack, I edit the music to fit with the video. Well everything is going to plan and I am off from work until monday!! I will start working on the movie asap. I am buying a new computer today so that may effect the release time. I enjoyed playing and making the video and I hope we can make some more! Also Masterofkills09, sorry about not adding you the the credits, You were not on the roster I made and that is my fault. I am also considering making a higher quality video, but it will not be displayed on youtube. I may host it as a torrent and downloaded file, I'll try to load it to youtube too.
