I'm here to give you a small guide of how to use the "car changing" feature and how to hide from the police during a chase. If you think that you can't hide from the police, then, YOU.ARE.WRONG.!!! What you need: *A wanted level (one star+) *Lots of luck first, the "car changing" feature: If you're being chased by the police and they lost sight of you, you may think in changing your car to "hide" from them. What you need to do this effectively: *Try to steal a car WITHOUT breaking the window. If you steal one breaking it, the police will catch you easily. IT IS NOT AN OPTION. *When you steal a car succesfully (as stated above)you should drive acording to the law (stopping at turns/ red lights). TIPS: *DONT DRIVE TOO CLOSE TO ANY POLICE VEHICLE. This may cause them to spot you. This may be harder in higher wanted levels, due to police wehicles roaming all aroun the wanted zone. How to hide from the police: Hideing from the police its really simple, just make the police lose sight of you, and get to a place where ground vehicles do not get normally. If you have three stars wanted level or more (***+)you should get to a place with opaque roof, to avoid being seen by a chopper. TIPS: * Dont shoot while hideing, this may trigger: That a ped call the 911 (being re-spoted) or a police unit to spot you instantly. As soon as you hide without being spoted, the police will search for you, but they will not know "psychically" where exactly you are. Greets. Edit: any questions you have, I'll try to help you. SLUGFly Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 the important part to remember here is that if you get to the edge of the hotzone, you have to locate health and then do something that will attract attention so that you can recenter the hotzone, get another star, rinse and repeat.
