GTA hater Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 (edited) Ok, GTA IV is out for 3 months now. Isn't it time that the famous GTA boredom sets in? Do you still find something fun to do or is it just all a shade of grey? Is it still fun to blow up the hot dog guy? Is the Gears of War copied shooting system still enjoyable? Does the Annihilator still give you a fix? Or does the Multiplayer Co-op keep you coming for more? Personally I am bored of this j*nk. I can't see anymore good graphics and I have enough of all the perfection and well designed environments. It's time for the good old top down in GTA China Town Wars. Sebulbus Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 I just think that the reason it's taken me a few months to get bored of GTA IV, and much, much longer to get bored of GTA: SA is the fact that GTA IV, while much more detailed, is still a much smaller area, with much less to do. I know people say "Yah yah, SA was all open space!" Yeah, but that was pretty sweet! I don't know, I just can't really find much to do in GTA: IV that is new, or still interesting. All I had left were assassinate missions and I beat all of them in about 20 minutes. I believe we will see improvement through-out the more GTA's they make. I admire the great graphics of the game and I admire the living-city, but I get simply bored after the story mode. Too be honest, I never got bored with San Andreas. Im now looking for glitches and myths i can find and watching more youtube vids about GTA4. Im looking foward to GTA Chinatown Wars. Changing flat area into a more vertical area is a bad thing. Cars can only drive on flat ground, having more verticalness does nothing. Just driving around really fast, avoiding traffic, running over peds, searching for more PCJ's to fill my spaces with, and many more things. gta 4 gamer Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 naa, i still have fun in the game...cuz i do fun stuff lol...i always get 6 stars and get a cab..then at the back seet i shoot the peds...then the driver goes out, police come, ram my car, no one can bust me cuz there are 100000 car blocking me, i take my wanted level off...take an RPG, BOOOOOOOOM! vettefan88 Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 I got bored after finishing the story, the achievements gave me a bit more to do, to try and get them, and I pretty much forced getting 100% upon myself, but most of the game was just boring. even some parts of the story. Sure is and with the freedom to feck around with pedestrians/cops its great fun because we have euphoria running.I also love the physics to shoot at all stuff like, benches, oil barrels and what not. Does the Annihilator still give you a fix? Its fun flying, if i also got a small semi fast plane like the rustler in SA +parachute my fun o meter bee through the roof. Or does the Multiplayer Co-op keep you coming for more? After finishing story all Multiplayer modes keep the fun and unpredictabilly feel alive. I mean, this is the quickest I've ever gotten tired of a Grand Theft Auto title. Could be, and this is for me: The so-so soundtrack, short story, dull characters, boring city, annoying wanted system, bad gun sound effects, lack of customization, and complete failure of the built up hype. I played San Andreas for a couple hours not to long ago. GTA IV is amazing with looks, but jesus, San Andreas blows it away with gameplay. In my opinion. Ash_735 Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 60 Hours on the clock and still enjoying it, IV is the best for Driving and Stunting and I'm really liking the soundtrack even though the radio glitch can get annoying. For me it's nice to see GTA return to Driving, as some of you may not know, Grand Theft Auto is a term used when someone steals a car, not fly around on a jetpack. DX2069 Posted July 20, 2008 Share Posted July 20, 2008 i really hated the story all together as soon as demitri betrayed you thats how you knew the end was going to be and the whole point for going to america to "Find the special someone" it was so sh*tty the way that played out it had no bareing on the ending at all i am EXTREMELY dissapointed and then you finish the story and what is there to do SHOOT PIDGEONS!!
