Ilovevicecity324
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has played Rockstar's "Manhunt 2"- because I was thinking about picking it up and trying it out but I wanted to get some feedback from some people who have played it already- is it any good? Is it worth going out and buying?
Blackadder.
It's a fairly decent game I'd say, if you could find it cheap get it. Otherwise I'd say rent before you buy, you might like it, you might not. What do you intend on getting it on by the way, PS2, PSP or Wii?
Oblivionz
Everyone has a different taste in video games, so definitely go out and give it a rent before you buy it, or if you find it pretty cheap just pick it up.
mark3boyz
Its awful, an insult to the original, but still worth the purchase. Assuming you buy it for the PS2.
Creed Bratton
You should get the first "Manhunt" if you didn't play it. It is way better and scarier
kingvercetti
I played MH2 on PSP (hacked to remove the filter) without playing the first one, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, although admittedly I didn't get to the end. It's at least worth a rent.
lloydo
I can't play it, tis banned.
Pat
still worth the purchase. Assuming you buy it for the PS2. So, it's only worth the purchase on the PS2? I fail to see why.

The wii version doesnt have the ability to hack the filter, the controls suck, and the filter is twice as bad as the PS2 version. As for the PSP again controls suck and its on a tiny screen with sh*ttier graphics.

Some levels are also near impossible to pass, one instance you are required to shoot objects within a space of about 3-5 seconds, Due to the PSP having only one analog stick, you have to completley stop to enter free-aim, and unlike the GTA: Stories games, you can't hold L to fine tune your aim, so you are left swivelling back and forth over your target until you finally are able to hit it. Then you get neard the end, fail, and have to do it all over again.
Ilovevicecity324
and unlike the GTA: Stories games, you can't hold L to fine tune your aim, so you are left swivelling back and forth over your target until you finally are able to hit it. Yeah, I hate games that are like that. If it gets to that point where I can't pass or anything like that- I usually try and use cheat codes or something to help me get through it without dying like an "Invincibility" code or something. I usually try my best not to cheat- but there's some instances where I just think it's absolutely necessary. Because I do think cheats kind of take most of the fun out of the game and it kind of defeats the purpose of playing it. Yeah, and also in GTA- there's some missions that won't let you fine tune your aim- like when you're driving in the back of a boat or something and you have to shoot off everybody while the other guy is driving for you. sloppy joe
Buy it. I beat it and it was well worth the money. Besides, Rockstar games are always badass.
gamesguru
I had the PSP version with the patch. I must say I would give it a 7/10. Disappointing to say the least. The game soon turns into a below par shooter, instead of a stealth game. And there is no way around it as some guards are scripted to see you or stay in place and wait for you to progress into their room. It's not even as graphic nor atmospheric as the first. I enjoyed the Suburbia level and that's it....
Torcidas
Its awful, an insult to the original, but still worth the purchase. Assuming you buy it for the PS2. If you consider games that are awful and insulting "purchase worthy", then perhaps you should reconsider your status as a gamer. As for the game itself, it's okay. Worth a rent at least if you're that interested.
