And i think they could make the next GTA's city much better by having even more random happenings around the city. Like, more criminals except you. Now i know there guys that run from cops and get arrested in IV, but thats not enough for me. I want to be in Burger Shot eating my Bleeder and minding my own business, when a random psycho barges in with a pump action shotgun and starts blowing people away. Then i finish my burger and kick his ass. Or, say you're walking down the sidewalk and a suicide jumper lands right in front of you. That would be so unexpected. Since I'm bored, here's a few more: Robberies BIG car crashes A/C units falling out of windows Raccoons digging through the trash Building fires Discreet sidewalk drug deals Pickpockets A pedestrian trips and falls down a flight of stairs. Ambulances pick her up and take her to a hospital. Not just drive her around. you follow them and see that they actually put her in a room. You blow up said room. Perfect! -People mowing lawns -Cable car's cables breaking causing the car to fall 100 yards down into a crowd of people. You hear it on the news radio later that day -Creepy fat guy attempts to get an upskirt shot on another pedestrian. Proceeds to get his ass handed to him by her boyfriend -Guys setting off fireworks in a park and fleeing -Dog climbs under backyard fence and attacks pedestrian. Indeed something that make the game great - random happenings like this, plane crashes etc. Also there were drug dealers on the streets, at least in some areas Good stuff though. Adds a little realism. I definitely wouldn't want to see carjackings everywhere I look but nothing wrong with a little something here and there to add a little realism (you can't be the only one in the city up to no good) and maybe even something to keep you on your toes out there (pickpockets, carjackers targeting you as well as NPCs). How about Pizzaboys and Mr. Whoopee trucks actually delivering pizzas and ice cream? Maybe even with stuff your character can purchase and eat. Of course, steal the vehicle and press R3 to trigger side mission Random drive-bys by NPCs. Enemy gangs occasionally driving around even outside their "turf" to start trouble. More interaction with NPCs and cops would be nice. You get spotted doing something wrong and get snitched on. But to me the biggest necessity for the next GTA - something I wanted from the time I finished VC, and R* never seemed to have done it properly since, but rather silly attampts that fall way short. I want a universal and realistic wanted level system that applies to NPC as well as you. They never did that in GTA 4. Get one star and cops rush from all nearby areas, shoot a cop, and you get three stars automatically, with a cop gunship and NOOSE Officers (in Patriots). Now, how many times have I seen shootouts in that game between cops and crooks where the crooks kill all the cops, and absolutely nothing happens until I call 911 again! Not only that, but I never understood is how you had mass rioting in SA, people looting and shooting/beating each other etc. but once you did something bad the cops were all after you. Without a wanted level, cops milled around on the sidewalks oblivious to the chaos around them. WTF? Maybe it was that way because CJ was black. Instead of driving from A-B like the very first mission, you drive to a bank to check your account (no more GTA4-style sh*t where you can just pause the game and find out). There you are taught to check your account to see if your paid in full or scammed by employers. Robbers run in, and you either freeze and watch the ensuing hold-up and firefight with police, or act as a hero and probably get killed. Capricornus Posted July 21, 2008 Share Posted July 21, 2008 (edited) Here's the only one I can think of. A group of peds actually gearing up to rob a bank/perform a huge bank heist. Let's say you follow a car with 4 peds in it for a good while. They go to a rendezvous point and meet up with 4 other peds, who are waiting in a car. The passenger of the first car gets out, and directs his partners in the other car to follow them. They go to his house, or an abandoned building (a good meeeting point). You easedrop on the convo, ad hear them planning out the bank heist. One of them (presumingly the leader/main planner) says something like: "Okay guys, we will all meet up here at 11:30 pm tomorrow night. Be sure to bring you Ski Masks!" So the next day, you go to this meeting spot at the time that the planner said, and you actually see them entering the building and what not, arriving in the same cars that they had the previous day. They are planning, and the leader makes sure that everyone has their gear by asking "You guys got the Ski Masks?". They reply with a simple "yes" answer. They then suit up, and go around the back where there are 2 black vans for the 8 men to enter (4 guys in each van). Again, you (unoticably) follow them without making it obvious that you are following them. They go inside a huge bank, stick people up, take hostages, get a large amount of loot and escape (granted that the cops don't come). Later on you here about the whole situation on the news radio/TV. I know it's too much, but that would be so damn awsome. BTW this would happen more than once in different ways, of course.
