-M- Posted July 18, 2008 Share Posted July 18, 2008 (edited) As in the title this is a gamemode based on the 1979 cult classic 'The Warriors'. If you've seen the film then this will make a lot more sense to you than those of you who haven't but watch this video to get a brief insight of what it's all about. I that video! What The Objectives Are There will be 4 groups to choose from; The Warriors, The Furies, The Turnbull ACs and The Police. More about classes below. All gangs start at middle park where the meet takes place. When I suggest Deathmatch 'The Chief of Police' should shoot into the air and everyone will disperse to their vehicles or in The Warriors case on foot. The Warriors objective is to return to their home of Coney Island (The fair to the south of Broker). As the other gangs try to hunt them down before they make it there. The objective of The Police is to put a stop to any Gangs on the streets. Everyone has one (1) life so if all Warriors die the other gangs are victorious however if any of The Warriors make it to Memory Lanes in South Broker (The Safehouse) they win. If you die no matter what class you are you must make your way to Memory Lanes immidieatley or leave the game. Once the game is over we will have a huge gang brawl inside Memory Lanes last gang standing wins. Classes The Warriors - Torso 8 or Anything Red - The Warriors are only allowed to use their fists and cannot use any type of vehicle. They have to run all the way to Coney. They cannot swim either. They must use the bridges to get to broker. They can however pick up weapons taken from wasted gang members. The Furies - Hat 2 or 3 - Torso 6 - No Jeans - The Furies are exacly the same as the Warriors exept they can carry Baseball Bats. They can however unequip them when running. Furies can only go round on Faggios. They will have time to find them. They cannot run people down. If you can't find Faggios use the smallest crappest car you can find (Baggage Carrier ) The Turnbull ACs - Head 1, 5 or 7 - Jeans - These guys get to travel round in a bus. Like in the film. They can only use fists but they can run people down so watch out. Note: Only 4 people fit in a bus so The ACs will have to travel round in two buses. Actually if every member wants to drive their own bus they are welcome to. 7 buses going down an empty street that will be a sight to remember. The Po-lice - The Blue Bubble Coat + Appropriate Dress - The police travel round in police cars but cannot run anyone down. They automatically get a shotgun everytime they sit in a police car. They can also use pistols if they attain them. Drive-by style. Must keep siren on at all times. Order of Events The game will be in Team Death match with Blips on Team only and weapons on Melee. The Warriors should be red as I will be the host and will be a Warrior. The Furies should be orange. ACs will be green and Police as blue. This is just so people know which team to join. We will start in a Dukes/Broker loacation. I will set the time to evening (6PM) so we have time before nightfall. The reason we start in Dukes/Broker is so weapons don't spawn everywhere to add to the realism. But there will be health packs available for the finale. 2)Everyone has to aquire their vehicles/weapons etc. Police need to find a Police Car - either by getting a wanted level or going to the Dukes police station. ACs need to get a bus and Furies need to get Faggios. We will try to be done by 8PM gametime. 2)As Blips are team I will need one representative of each Army (WarLord/Chief of Police) to PM me to let me know that you are all there. Once everyone is there I will Suggest Deathmatch. The Police Chief will then fire into the air and the gangs will disperse. As soon as the time reaches the next Game Hour on the phone (Hopefully 9PM) the other gangs can begin to hunt the warriors. DO NOT FOLLOW THE WARRIORS FROM THE PARK 3)If you die make your way to memory lanes where we will all have a huge melee brawl at the end. 4)Once everyone is at memory lanes I will suggest TDM. Everyone can use their designated weapons exept the Police should use knives and the ACs use their fists. If you don't want to participate leave the game. If you die in the melee brawl wait outside Memory Lanes for the winner(s) to emerge victorious. 5)After the gang brawl I will lead everyone to a nearby staircase where we will all line up with weapons equiped and hopefully Doc or Jubbly can take a picture of us in Warriors stylee. If you get a car and go into First Person view it would look cool, then you can swap positions) (Can you two camera owners let me know if you can do that?, Maybe you both can take one and I'll photoshop the other one in the best pic) 6)Then we're done, we can have races, Riko can host TW w/e. I think it would be unfair for me to pick a Warrior on a "first come first served basis" I'll edit this post once I choose. A few questions: Should the warriors not be in red? Torso 6 is the white and black (furies) whereas torso one looks much more like what the warriors would wear. What would the blips be set to? Far maybe...that means you still need to hunt down the Warriors, but have a rough idea where they are. Oh, and where do you find a bat in Free Roam, because I don't think I've seen any. Anyone know any Truth to that? I meant the red jacket with the blue at the side not torso 6. I don't know what number it is though. I'd like to try it with Blips Team as warriors already have a huge disadvantage being no weapons or transport. Plus it's a pritty pre-determined route so after some patrolling I think they will be able to be found. Also the whole basis is firstcome first served so by all means pick warrior if you want to... I love the parkour element to this game and even signed up for the Parkour multiplayer thread round about here. I don't think it will come to anything though... My suggestions: -make it a TDM melee, FM will confuse people -blips far it would help -Lizzies should be able to run because the just jogging rule it's easy to forget (and jogging is boring) -Lizzies with pistols (if it's a melee TDM they will be able to get pistols only from the cops, and if police is on, maybe the girlz could use knives) - I would definitely put Police on and make another gang (Orphans (with knifes)? or those guys that in the movie kill Cyrus - can't remember the name ) - make it 2 lives for each one (there is always the stupid possibility to die ran down by a ped car ) - 3)You cannot wait outside memory lanes. Other gangs are not allowed south of Niko's first house. You can wait at bridges though. You mean after they are dead? I think that the other gangs should be able to chase the Warriors till outside Memory Lanes. - The starting gunshot: how we do it if it's a melee TDM? Solution: we make it a TDM with weapons (maybe weak? Which weapons u get with weak?). This way someone could shoot at an A.I. cop and that would be starting shot. After this we would follow the weapons rules for each gang. - A couple more suggestions: 1) The Warriors should be allowed to use a baseball bat if they get it from a dead Furie, just like in the movie 2) The Warriors should be allowed to use molotov cocktails, just like in the movie (scene with the Orphans - maybe just one of them could use molotovs - just like in the movie ) 3) following the "movie fidelity" line, only one Lizzie should get a pistol that's all, sorry about the many suggestions... Too bad there's no running subway in MP, that would be awesome! I'm signing up as a Warrior if there is room for one more... 10 PM GMT: best time I guess. EDIT: How many guys fit in a bus? Maybe just 4 (so one less AC that can be an Orphan) The Warriors should win the game if a minimum of two gets to Memory Lanes. In the movie not all of them reach Coney... I've already decided about TDM melee, The Lizzies will have to find and kill a cop beforehand and then lose their wanted level. I think the jogging rule fits as girls may not be able to run as fast as the rest. (I'm not sexist ). Plus they have a huge advantage by having pistols. I thought 16 ppl fit in a bus. I'll change that then and make an AC a warrior. ACs can have knives then as they no longer outnumber the warriors. OK I'll make it two lives. Thats a good idea. Edit: Are the other gangs on a truce to catch the warriors and only the warriors or do they fight? also when will this happen? and the last one, people will get kicked, and if there is more than 8 people in a game im not hosting it will say for me: "your router is too strict". It's really anoyig when you get kicked and the game has started, we need to think of something to get around this? All wearing black jackets and the russian type tall hats. (Instead of Top Hats) They can only use Shotguns, Assault Rifles, Sniper Rifles, RPG's, Helicopters(Only the Army one, to make it fair) and also have the power to send a nuke to Coney Island. Of course, I'm only kidding...they can't use sniper rifles. But in all seriousness, are other gangs allowed to fight other gangs except The Warriors. e.g. The Lizzies sneak up to the Bus area in Algonquin and wait for the Ac's to turn up. As they drive off, the Lizzies shoot the tyres out on the vehicle and make away in their car in order to catch the Warriors first. I think the other gangs should be on a truse as if you can remember there is a truce made by Cyrus on the night which lets The Warriors make their way to middle park to begin with. Lets just say all the gangs want to kill the warriors first as they will get rewarded by The Riffs. I will post here like Riko does in the TWs who killed who and which gang won/lost. I'll be hosting. I think if we get everyone in at the lobby stage and then no one leaves until the end noone will get kiked, we'll just have to hope. @Bannana boy: Maybe the faggio thing can be the afterparty.
