Hi,

 

I want to make a misison in cleo, but I dont know how to start it I mean when I make a simple mod I start the script like this :

 

 

{$VERSION 3.1.0027}{$CLEO .cs}//-------------MAIN---------------thread 'BLA BLA' 

 

 

But how to start a mission when you walk to a sphere and then start mission. I mean something like this:

 

 

ifactor $player_actor near sphere 111,0 2323,0 3535,0 stopped on foot radius bla bla blajf @backstart mission @bla bla bla

 

 

How ??????

Use .cm for cleo missions. They also need a start pack. Missions are very hard and I would say your not experienced enough to do missions yet.

I mean where and how to start , and where to put the when actor enters sphere code ?

Use .cm for cleo missions. They also need a start pack. Missions are very hard and I would say your not experienced enough to do missions yet.

You don't need more experience for missions than normal threads.

To start the mission, use:

0A94: start_custom_mission "missions\CustomMission1"

 

Do everything in the mission in the same sequence as you do in the threads. The most important things to remember:

1. Use end_thread instead of 0A93: end_custom_thread

2. Use mission_cleanup at the end of the mission (well, actually I don't know exactly smile.gif)

3. Always check if player is wasted or busted.

close,now right the mission as CM the Cm file must be named the same as the start_mission name in the starter pack

Use .cm for cleo missions. They also need a start pack. Missions are very hard and I would say your not experienced enough to do missions yet.

You don't need more experience for missions than normal threads.

To start the mission, use:

0A94: start_custom_mission "missions\CustomMission1"

 

Do everything in the mission in the same sequence as you do in the threads. The most important things to remember:

And the opcodes which say Mission Only, you do know them right ?

 

There is a difference between scripts and mission scripts.

 

The scripts in the decompiled main.scm are called THREAD. The mission script is also a thread.

But the mission script needs more knowledge and more effort for constellation.

 

The engine reads the scripts downwards and Thread means that jump instructions can send the reading engine back, upwards to a adress

to read the same script again downwards. It loops.

And conditional checks can select different jump instructions.

You're mistaken about "real mission". Mission is real mission when it's .cm. CustomMission.txt sequence may be easier for some people, there's only difficulty difference. When there are no errors and it's in .cm, then it is real mission smile.gif
