I've seen articles about GTA IV that you can open the boots of vehicles and put stuff in. Is this possible? How much can you damage vehicles in the game? What happend the the tank, "Rhino"? Sorry. How much can you damage vehicles in the game? LOADS. Best damage system I've played in a game. What happend the the tank, "Rhino"? No Army. What happend to the army truck, "Barracks OL"? Don't think so. I think you would only have the national gaurd after you if you had an RPG and LOT AND LOTS of ammo and killed 1000s But maybe an anti terrorist special forces team first. Cars will damage alot, sometimes beyond recognition. It will also effect how the vehicle handles eg the front left wheel buckling so that it stop rotating decreasing the cars speed Everything involving the army was taken out this time in the name of realism. You wouldn't find the army with tanks in the middle of New York. As stated above. No army, no need for an army truck. Most people believe R* didn't include planes for fear people would re-enact 911, but they stated it was due to there being only one airport in the game. Nova69_7 Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 The franchise just moved on brother...I missed the Barracks OL and the Rhino too but given the way the game is (with no Army) they just wouldn't fit. The closest you get to packing your trunk is during a mission for Elizabeta Torres where you have to drive with two bodies in the back of your trunk and then get out and close it if it gets busted open by collisions. Presumably the only reason there were no planes in the game is because there is only one city (two if you count Alderney) so what's the point in them? The Helicopters do the job just as good! As for the damage...it's great in this game and you can inflict a lot on your car until it gets messed up enough to just stop dead. Hope that helps hbk112.
