You could tell some of the lads didn't know what they were doing, one guy was fishing this small match pool with Sea gear, using a conga eel float. My angling contribution isnt going to set any records.. a 4lb brown trout I caught in the river behind my house. My secret.. Bramble earth worms! I've caught bigger fish but only at fishing farms. I think my best there would be a 14lb rainbow trout. I watched a documentary about Nessie the other day. Apparently It turns out most of the nessie sightings were just a number of giant sturgeon fish in the lock. Fishing trip to Lock Ness anyone? There's still a few of the old woodsman types that make a pretty penny from poaching salmon in my neck of the woods. It really is just a case of hooking them out with a piece of wire.
