Pat
I don't see why everyone is attacking flitcroft101. It is possible to play a game and not like it. "ooo u didnt liek da gaym u just suk at it." So I suppose if I go out and find a game that you don't enjoy, I can say you aren't very good at it. According to your logic, at least.
Hart
Why? Why Wii, why not PS3 and PC They might as well port it for PS2 then PC/PS3 port should be what they would aim, but I will buy the wii version if it comes out good. And also, it would look like sh*t in the PS2, because the Wii IS more powerful than the PS2. They can at least include a achievement system inside the game, like there was in Battlefield Modern Combat in the PS2, where you earn medals for killing 50 people with the shotgun, jumping 200ft in a humvee, etc. @flitcroft101: Dude, you sound like you hate the game just because you can't beat it. Oh how I love your avatar.. thats happened to me on a few occasions. Anyway, on topic, ive never played Dead Rising, heard bad and good things about it. I heard that you only get one save or something? It was in a review they said it. IDK. Also it looks quite repetitive. I might get Dead Island even though its completely different. GTAThomas
Dead Rising is an amazing game if you take the time to get into it. This is how it went for me the first time I played: I started the game, took some pictures from the helicopter, and started to feel a little bored. Watched a few cutscenes, and took a few more pictures. Still not interesting for me. Sat through even more cutscenes before being able to play again. Story seemed uninteresting and boring. Just when I thought I could start, Otis started calling me to teach me how to play. Not quite feeling this game. A huge window with a time graph and lots of text popped up. I only rented this! I don't have time to sit through all those cutscenes AND read this junk! Made it into the mall, and started killing zombies, with no clue what I was supposed to be doing. I got bored, had no idea what I was supposed to do, and just stopped playing. I imagine it's been fairly similar for other people. You REALLY need to understand how this game works. It has some very different mechanics. I found the game for 20 bucks 7 months so I decided to get it. Without (real-life) time constraints, I took the time to read the text and pay attention. The game is very fun. The story has great twists, and the boss battles always had me cautiously protecting my life. Saving people was a pain, but you don't have to save many. So, I think this is great news for Wii gamers. Hopefully it won't appear so daunting this time around. Edit: Here is some more information: http://kotaku.com/5026581/dead-rising-wii-...r-no-photo-mode It seems as though they removed the photo feature, which was a little bit of an annoyance. Less things to worry about = more energy focused on the other elements. Edited July 19, 2008 by GTAThomas
Rebel
Well, depending on the price I think I might get it for the Wii. I got Dead Rising for the 360 as my first game. So I was playing it for a good couple months before I even bothered to pick anything else up. I've still not finished the story and well its fun killing zombies I'm just still not getting into the story that much.

I knew what I was getting, the beginning was extremely interesting, because I couldn't wait to get on with killing zombies and taking pictures on helicopter was fun as well.
