The latest issue of Famitsu brings word of a new Dead Rising game. But it's not a spin-off, per se, nor is it the probably-Vegas-bound Dead Rising 2, it's...a Wii version. And a direct (well, as good as they can get it) port of the 360 original to boot. With zombie-wrestling waggle and everything. Before you ask why, ask yourself why not. It worked for Res 4, you can't blame Capcom for trying! Scans are after the jump if you're in a state of disbelief. CS:Source plus Scans I dont have a Wii but I have a 360 and this game and all i can say is... Awesome. Good to see more people can play the awesomeness that is Dead Rising. Anyway, I saw this yesterday, looks like they're pushing the Wii to it's limits, they said they'd try and get it as close to the 360 version as possible. Still an embarrassment, but less of one nonetheless. Anyway, I'm surprised. I didn't expect them to do a port of the game this late, and if I did then a port to the PS3 would've been my first thought. It'll be interesting to see how this turns out, but I won't get it simply because I've already got the 360 version. Speaking of which I still haven't completed all the cases yet. I can't read a damn thing it says on the screen and I just get damn bored after awhile...mainly because I don't know what I'm doing because I can't read what the f*ck it says on the screen! But, anyway I wouldn't really care if it came out for Wii, unless I got Wii. Then, it would change everything. But, I did read somewhere in the new Game Informer about a new Dead Rising sequel, but I do believe it was scheduled for 360 only, and was not a re-make. Probably, fake. I can understand that some people found it impossible to get into this game, because it was so original with it's save system and the way the story progresses, people don't like change, they like to keep everything exactly the same and how they like it or else they just chuck a fit. And also, it would look like sh*t in the PS2, because the Wii IS more powerful than the PS2. They can at least include a achievement system inside the game, like there was in Battlefield Modern Combat in the PS2, where you earn medals for killing 50 people with the shotgun, jumping 200ft in a humvee, etc. @flitcroft101: Dude, you sound like you hate the game just because you can't beat it. Idiot, have you even completed the game? You said in one of your posts, that you played it for an hour, then returned it - tells me much about you. I would like to see you getting even 50% of the survivors out of the mall, while still being on time for the main quests, taking down all the bosses on earlier levels, etc. Seems you don't know jack sh*t about the game.
