FilthCrow Posted August 8, 2008 Share Posted August 8, 2008 Ok, Cops N' Robbers... towards the end of a good gaming and drinking session. I started out cops with three other players. My first action is to hit L2 and knock out my window so I can get ready to shoot. Well the guy in the back left side decides to get out and the dickhead driver decideds to throw the car in reverse. So this poor guy is just caught being dragged by the door while the car is floored in reverse. I'm like "What the hell is this driver doing? What an ass! And, hey, why won't my L2 work? My window's not busted..." Then I realized I was driving... I don't know why I wasn't kicked or how we ended up winning, but we did. That poor bastard. If you are reading this, I'm sorry! Prfctpersistent Posted August 8, 2008 Share Posted August 8, 2008 (edited) okay i was playing bdb2 the other day and some douche was flying the chopper and hit the side of a building (that was like his 3rd time hitting something) and it knocked the blades completely out as we trailed over the water so i decided to jump out i make it safely in the water as does everyone else i swim for a second then i move the camera to look up and see the effing chopper come crashing down on my body killing me very embaressing since i had swam right UNDER it when i was actually clear from it where i landed Edited August 8, 2008 by Prfctpersistent Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SephirothX Posted August 8, 2008 Share Posted August 8, 2008 I managed to fail a NOOSE mission by flying too low and hitting a tree just before you cross the water to the safe point. Lazlo_Panaflex Posted August 8, 2008 Share Posted August 8, 2008 I was in free mode...actually one of my first free mode experiences and was getting the hang of flying the chopper. I was doing all kinds of cool stuff and ended up picking 3 other players up and flying them around. I was zooming in and around the bridges and thinking "I am pretty f*cking good at this flying business"...then I tried to fly between some pylons. I made it! Yeah! But then I thought...I'm flying...but I can't hear the rotors!!! I had sheared them off and was now piloting a large brick with 3 passengers. As we started to come down...one by one they bailed on me...I could hear them screaming and then "Furtanken has died" etc. My chopper/brick landed on the freeway...skidded at speed knocking cars left right and centre...then it crashed into the side of a building. But I survived. I don't know how...but I was alive. I clambered out of the window of the chopper and stood on the wreckage. My friend had spawned at this stage right near the chopper and I jumped up and down to show my glee. The chopper then exploded.....taking me with it in a fiery death. Oh did we laugh. ppitchfork Posted August 8, 2008 Share Posted August 8, 2008 - running around a corner when you know someone's camping out to blow your head off. - dying after being run over by a NPC. - being killed in DM by another player b/c you're too busy killing the cops. - holding onto grenades too long. - forgetting what color team you're on and wondering why the character you're unloading clips into won't die. even after blowing them up with RPGs. then once you realize what you've done just running off like nothing happened. - pissing everyone off in hangman's noose b/c you've been forced to swim to the safepoint. will post more as i think of them. GIGABOWSER7 Posted August 11, 2008 Share Posted August 11, 2008 I was playing some Cops n' Crooks earlier today, and I was a cop. So the game starts, and I'm driving the car. The Crooks are close to us, and I start driving. I must have run over a gas tank or something because all of a sudden the car blows up, and I realized I just blew up my whole team. DJBillyB Posted August 11, 2008 Share Posted August 11, 2008 DM in the airport with 3 players on 0star and one other on 2star, so i thought this is gonna be a breeze. now i was on top of this building in the airport and pleanty of sniper ammo and some rifle power with me. Picking off all these noobs easy as pie. they couldnt tell where i was so i started getting cocky with my shooting and biting away at theyre legs and making theyre pain last a bit longer. as i was doing this i forgot about my mini map till all of a sudden i get pumped in the back of the head with a shotgun and the b&w graphics spinning out towards a 0 star picking up my collections. after that i gave him some top respect and left him alone Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
