soydog2 Posted July 17, 2008 Share Posted July 17, 2008 i manged to stumble across a way around getting the "one man army" achievement . all you have to do is go into one of the underground subways and go across to an island that you havent unlocked , wait to get 6 stars .....and wait there for 5 minutes and as long as your not near a station you get the achievement . the best place to do it is from broker to algonquin the very north line underground Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Benfolio Posted July 26, 2008 Share Posted July 26, 2008 Stupid question..... do the cops just forget about you after awhile? Does your wanted level just disappear? Because when I got my achievement (took a boat around all the locked islands early on in the game) I ran like nuts back to my safehouse to get in and save before I got busted or kilt. Every time since I've made sure I had a pay n spray nearby or a safehouse. WORST time was when I hid in a tower at the prison and picked off all the guards and then started picking off helicopters...... after awhile they lost sight of me, but they kept coming back. Helis only. No cops could come into the prison, and none showed up on radar. Until I tried to leave. DEAD. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
KnuXles Posted August 5, 2008 Share Posted August 5, 2008 i went onto one of the strange boats with boxes on on the right hand side of the second island. i had three helicopters shooting at me from above, but not a single one managed to hit me. so i got myself a frube and a drink, and five minutes later i heard the achievement noise. northernmonkey Posted August 5, 2008 Share Posted August 5, 2008 Or you can just walk across the Broker bridge and hide in the stairwell at the end and wait 5 minutes, get the achivement and then play "avoid the cops" and see how long you last. Habitso Posted August 16, 2008 Share Posted August 16, 2008 I did it a fun yet working way. Not hard tho. Need max ammo for pistol, some ammo for assault rifle and good aim. Desert eagle pistol advised. Step 1 - Visit hospital, shoot all patient's in their beds, kill everyone. Step 2 - On that mission where you kill a guy in the hospital go up beside there those guards were and take cover behind wall. Step 3 - Slowly the Feds and Police will begin flooding the hospital, shoot any in your corridor, about three will come at a time. For me it was like 2 SWATS and a Fed came down every 30 seconds. Pretty easy. I read a book at the same time. The good aim bit is for getting quick headshots to take down armoured feds and that. Then you can die or get busted. or move to step 4. Step 4 (Optional) - Get out your M4 (or AK), nail their puny selves and grab a police car then take it to your closest pay and spray. Alternatively take it to a subway if you're desperate and drive down until you lose the cops. lol, felt like posting my own mini-guide Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
