gtawizard92 Posted July 17, 2008 Share Posted July 17, 2008 I was just playing GTA4 online, when the PS3 froze. After waiting a while, I switched off the PS3 at the back. However, after switching it back on, it wont read any of my discs... If any1, knows of a way to help me fix this I would really appreciate it... FlourescentBlack Posted July 17, 2008 Share Posted July 17, 2008 (edited) If you mean the disc icon in the crossbar menu will not come up from anything inserted that happened to me with a 40 gig PS3 I bought in January. Serial #CE510337825 CECHG01. If its under warrenty you contact them (1-800-345-7669) and they will ship it for you fix it and ship it back. If its not under warrenty itl cost you $150 American. Before you ship it they will ask you to to a system restore which means you are going to want a USB HD device, even a MP3 player or whatnot to back up all your save games. The crappy part is I was playing R6V2 at the time and I was 1 rank from max, elite I think its called. Turns out the R6V2 data is copy protected. I have yet to rinstall it.
