Killer avatar of PULSE art, kick ass as always. I am currently playing the multichannel DD re-working of Bob Kulick's Pink Floyd tribute of various artists, there is the Back To the Wall CD as well, that follows both LPs in cover all star artist fashion, to recreate the Wall from beginning to end!

I love what those Kulick bros have done for tributes to rock legends, they rarely falter <sp>?

I've been known in the past to avoid west coast hip hop (with exception of Ice Cube of course), but i'm really getting into Oakland groups, Hieroglyphics and Souls of Mischief - the latter especially - lately. Awesome flow.

Haha, that's right. I remember you always blabbing on about Ice Cube. Both groups you mentioned are dope, I don't have any of their albums but I know songs by them. I might go get some work of theirs now.

I've been getting into a lot of Jam Bands lately. What I've been listening to isn't on my itunes but youtube and myspace is where I've been playing them. I'll get some albums of theirs later. The bands being; Phish, Grateful Dead, Jazzam, Rusted Root, Ozric Tentacles, The John Butler Trio, and Disco Biscuits.

All great stuff. I've found that most of their best material is at live performances since they usually extend their songs with groovy guitar solos.

Phish - Ghost (live)

Watch it all. Simply mindblowing.

Here's one I think was completely neglected....

FOREIGNER - Unusual Heat...

The one album without Lou Gramm, but still very accessible. It has a unique flavor to it and I still think it stands up today.

I started to memorize all the Jonas Brother songs again. I keep screwing up S.O.S, and I still need to learn Burnin' Up before the new album. There like the new Beetles I tell ya. OMJ! inlove.gif

Thanks to a tip in the metal topic, Anacrusis. Awesome american thrash band with strong progressive traits. I'm gonna feast in their four albums for the coming days.

I've been getting back into pink floyd lately. I used to listen to the wall all the time when I was a kid. Never got into some of there other albums untill just recently like Wish You Were Here, Dark Side Of The Moon, and the rest. Trippy music. Sober or intoxicated.

Trippy track "Careful With That Axe Eugene"

Primus' brown album is good to.

Good choice Walkerboh.

I've been listening to a lot of Radiohead lately, I love them. I have; In Rainbows, OK Computer and The Bends. All great albums. I'm not too sure with what I'll get next, since I want to listen to more. Probably Kid A. Any Radiohead fans? I'm sure there's plenty around.

Also, I've been listening to and enjoying a lot of Ambient and Electronic music. Bands/Artists like; Jean Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Ash Ra Tempel. Good stuff. Any fans of that genre want to recommend me some albums, either by those artists or others?

I've been listening to a lot of XTC lately.

XTC have quickly shot their way up into being one of my all time favorite bands. I first discovered them a few years ago over an '80s radio station, when I heard their hit from 1980, Generals and Majors.

Then a while later, I discovered their song from 1992, Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead

These were the only two songs I had by them. Then, not too long ago, I started looking more into their music library, and became very pleased with what I discovered.

From pure '80s pop songs like Are You Receiving Me?, Sgt Rock (Is Going to Help Me), Mayor of Simpleton and King for a Day to my current favorites by them, 1980's Towers of London

and 1992's The Disappointed

Some people say that they're some of the best songwriters of all time. I'm one of those people. In my opinion they're even better than The Beatles, yet they never got the credit, fame, or recognition that they deserve.

Here are some other songs by them:

Are You Receiving Me?

King for a Day

Mayor of Simpleton

All of a Sudden (It's Too Late)

Respectable Street

Earn Enough for Us

Dear God

Coupla days ago, dug up some vintage Tom Cochrane and Red Rider. When Lunatic Fringe single broke in 1980, circa.....

I just got real interested. In the USA, Canadian acts never break as big as say, Bryan Adams, but Tom put his name out there on the last "Red Rider" album before going solo, with a single called "Boy Inside the Man", still stands up, as all good songs do.

I've also recently discovered a reggae artist called Matisyahu who I've really been digging lately. "Live at Stubb's" is a great album.

Yeah, he owns. This is a great track:

I'm listening to Extreme's new album.

So far so good. It's just Extreme, you know? Nuno is as rocking as ever. I do like the new drummer. Cherone sounds the same, which may be both good or bad.

^Is Extreme living up to their name or no? Their first LP is their best.

I have just come off listening to, in a row... Night Ranger's "7", Honeymoon Suite's Running After Midnite, MSG's 2 on 1 CD comp; first two albums on one CD series...also has UFO but can't locate more of the collections, sadly. I think it's OOP

Wu Tang and DOOM are probably the most I listen too. Wu Tang Clan is the best rap group ever to hail this earth and this is one of there dopest tracks.

Doom is a UK grindcore band, if memory serves... I had their John Peel Sessions BBC CD. That's not the same one I reckon.

I've been listening to CD, MiniDisc and LP records lately... and I am about to go back to cassette tape, having bought some new blank old stock ones!!

Yeah, I'm a big Radiohead fan. I saw them live a few weeks back and it was incredible.

As far as picking up Kid A I would say go for it. It's probably my favorite Radiohead album.

I've been listening to a lot of J Rocc scratches from the beat junkies. He's done some great sh*t like his James Brown and J Dilla scratch mix cd's and his latin jazz mix was bomb as sh*t. I also got Biz Markie digging on blue note records. He's really good on the 1's and 2's.

I'm listening to Epiphany by Staind. I love Aaron Lewis' voice and his dark lyrics that's easy to relate to. He's my second favorite lead singer behind Chris Cornell.

Been listening to Death Cab For Cutie and Postal Service way too much recently. Right now I'm going through the 'Something About Airplanes' album, probably gonna leave it to get through all their work then move to Postal Service. Then rinse and repeat.

I'm listening to Dance Hall for some weeks now.

Especially the band Seeed.

It's a german band from Berlin, but some of you maybe know their song "Ding" (english "thing").

Another great song is "Alles neu" from Peter Fox (Seeed's lead singer and frontman):
