markiij
Hey, I've seen it a while ago. I think the movie's pretty good. It's a story about a blackjack cardcouters team busting the big casinos in Vegas with their hi-lo technique while no one knows about this. So in Vegas they're making milions while in their "other lives" they're just normal guys. The movie is based on the real story though it isn't too much (I know the story). What do you guys think about this movie? Edited July 17, 2008 by markiij
swolo yaggins
21 review by Mikal Rating: out of 5. The movie was ok and I bought it on DVD for $3, well worth the money, but I wasn't too fond of the point-of-view that the director decided to take with the whole thing, and by that I mean making it seem like you're watching the movie from the eyes of the spectator inside a theater, even though I'm at my house. The concept was very original, but the director made the theater so real that it was distracting to the movie itself. Babies crying, cell phones ringing, the main character belching and farting? Please. What about half-way through the movie when the main character got up and went to buy some pop corn? Very realistic, but not what I want from a movie. I wasn't too fond of the ending either. In fact, it was a huge disappointment. I was waiting for the movie to end so I could see who played the blonde girl, but when the blonde girl was running through the halls of the casino with the protagonist of the film-within-the-film, then everything went black, including the theater itself, but you could still hear the audience for a few seconds. That was the ending. I probably spent about 2 minutes waiting for the credits to roll. This won't be a movie I'll ever watch again. I give it one out of five Pierce Brosnan's. 5192:12.3.02LM/SSHmkl
