Scharkey
Okay, my issue is whenever I aim a weapon and want to turn left, right, forward, or backward he stays in a locked posistion. If I press left + forwards or right + backwards etc. he'll move and then while I'm holding them, I can let go of one button. I can't seem to move at all without pressing more than one movement. It may not seem like a serious issue to you, but in SA-MP it can get annoying and I'd like to have to just press one button sometimes . edit: Forgot to post specs, but I'm sure the graphics card, ram, or processor matters. It's a Dell XPS keyboard. Edited July 17, 2008 by Scharkey
cacarla
I think you must have achieved Hitman level in your weapon skills to move while strafing.
GTArv
Yeah, its always like that, atleast for me. I don't see any difficulty in strafing in SA:MP. If you're being killed in DM, even though you keep moving, its probably due to high ping.
Girish
cacarla is right. You need to improve your weapon skills. Gangster level is reached when skill levels fill 20% to 50% of the meter. When gangster level is reached, you can move while in the aiming stance and your lock-on range, accuracy, rate of fire, and strafe speed increase. Hitman level is reached at maximum weapon skill (100%). This allows you to fire while moving. Lock-on range, accuracy, rate of fire, and strafe speed also improve. Because I still wouldn't be able to strafe when I use left + forward. I know because I've played this game since it's been out. GTArv knows what I'm talking about. In SA-MP all the weapons are automatically hitman level. And fyi, it's not effecting my skills on SA-MP GTArv, it's just an annoying thing I want to be gone. I'd like to SOMEDAY, move forward while shooting without having to press left. I had to change my fighting techniques because of this..
