jedimario Posted July 17, 2008 Share Posted July 17, 2008 Hi all, new guy here. Saw SA at Wal-Mart for PC for $10 a couple of weeks ago, and well I have been hooked since This game is a blast! It's been stealing plenty of my free time from Grid, which is an awesome game. Anyway, I'm now looking forward to GTA IV being released for PC, if that is to ever happen, and worrying that I won't be able to run it. Oh well, I'm kinda a forum person, so I thought I'd sign up. I tend to be a bit of a goody-two-shoes and kinda had moral issues with this game for while (not because of Hot Coffee either), and while it's not the greatest stuff it sure is fun. Let me just advise you that SA is amazing and you should enjoy every second of it as it is fun and addictive in its own unique way. I'll learn I guess THere's really nothing to learn - first of all, don't say anything about "fingerless gloves" because it pisses everyone off; second, don't start a conversation about how one console is better than another; third, you don't even have to know how to spell - all you have to do is locate the forum. The rules must be fairly self-explanitory - I've never read them - the search feature is at the bottm of the page. Writer's Discussion is a must if you like to read or write fanfics, original stories, poems and the sort. Debates and Discussion is great too, full of interesting and well-thought out posts on current world issues. General Chat is a good laugh a lot of the time. I think IV is the only section where arguments are common, and you'll find most of the new members hanging around there I don't visit the other places that much. The usual stuff goes. No spam, no flaming, try not to double post unless necessary (use the edit button in the upper left of your previous post). The sub forums are grouped up into different areas of things. They are at the left in bold lettering: Network, Forum Tools (that's where the search is), GTA Series (which has several sub sections of it's own), Multiplayer, GTA Modding (Pc modding, mainly, per game), Community, The Network. You might want to check out this area http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showforum=138 edit: For the overall board rules, and sig and avatar rules and stuff, go to "The Network>Announcements" area, the pinned topics are what you've been looking for. Morrowind has that place, and probably always will I will probably start downloading mods once I beat the game.
