Terzin1
I swear every five minutes on this game (the ps2) version, and the game crashes and the word "loading" pops up. The first sign I know the end is coming is when the radio goes out. Does this happpen to anyone else? Ive completed missions just to find that as soon as i finish, the damn thing locks up. Check your disk, how does it look? Many scratches? Dirty? Fingerprints? Thats the usual cause. Unless your PS2 is dirty, in which case you'll need to buy a laser lense cleaner. Terzin1
I am hoping it is only my ps2, because this game is great. Ive been searching these forums and havent really heard of anyone having the same problem. so my main question is, if I am wrong, if this is a common thing for this game. Mince
No, it isn't too common. It must be your disc. Something similar happened to me on my first playthrough of SA. Whenever I did Ryder's missions, or sometimes jacked a car, the game would freeze. The radio would stop, and the textures would not load. Then, BOOM. Freeze. I soon found out that the game froze up whenever I was tuned into Radio Los Santos. My disc was very badly scratched up, so that must be your problem. pimp_60cent
I have the same problem on the PSP. My brother f*cked with my UMD making it full of scratches and sh*t. The "loading" mostly happens on the mainland. Or sometimes it will say "Error reading VCS disk" or something. It's annoying as f*ck.
