mkey82 Posted July 18, 2008 Share Posted July 18, 2008 I played GTA3 after VC which I played after SA. And still had a lot of fun. But I have to be hones, I never completed it (the 3 I mean). First time I played I gave it a rest due to college and various related stuff. The second time I got stuck on that god damn mission where you need to collect those porno materials while driving a god damn Pony. I just couldn't complete it, so I gave up. Now I just don't have the time to start all over again. But it was/is fun. Despite some obvious drawbacks. Games comprise of a lot more then graphics. It was them,noone elz. it's just not fun crash cars that don't get banget up like in burnout. once we have burnout for PC,everyone will hate the demolition sytem in IV. if it IVer comes out. BTFW:look at the sig of "thesamurai hobo". @addict: no,consoles are made for children,that's why all console games must be made that way. yess Posted July 20, 2008 Share Posted July 20, 2008 GTAIII was and is the best game in the serie, very god soundtrack, nice story, a god layout of the city and plenty of replayability. Vice city was crap(the town) soundtrack was borring (i grew up with that music and i hate it) story was god, the city was flat and dull and the game itself was full of flaws (collecting dust on the shelf). San andreas was god, nice soundtrack, ok story and a f*cking big playground with lot's of option's to have FUN and big replayability. GTAIV is god, ok soundtrack ok story and a god layout of the city but the GTA feel is missing, replayability is ok but no rush, but a very very nice looking town. To sum it all up in time played. GTAIII around 700 hours maby more. GTA VC 150 hours GTA SA 300 hours maby more. GTA IV at the time it's clocked at 168 hours. I think that GTA IV has lost it's feel becaurse of multiplayer, but i want singleplayer and options to have fun by my self. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I didnt play GTA IV but i can tell that it should be great (has new physics , new charachter, Liberty city etc...) But GTA III was the best GTA I ever played !!!! I had never played a better game prior to that.Was up for about two days straight playing it, good times yea my brothers best fiend came over and spent the night and i was playing his gta 4 from 9:oo am - 6:oo am the next day. although gta 3 had a very well story, gta was fun. you cant even jump off of a super tall building like gta 4. you cant even get on top of 1. I think some people here that have been whinning about how it doesn't have certain features for almost 4 months, are more "children" then the crowd you're proclaiming GTA IV is aimed at. Anyway GTA III was fun back in the day, because it was very unique at that time. I've had just as much fun with IV though. I disagree, because it is not 'realism' that is the problem with IV, it is merely a lack of things to do. This has nothing to do with 'realism'. I could just put headphones on and fly around or drive or just go on shootouts. I've completed IV once struggeling to find the patience to go through it again, spend some time online but that bores me after awhile. SA just had much more replay value for me. In GTA4 they took a step back and started fresh again like how GTA3 improved after each game (VC and SA) then they remade the first two cities because they had small amount of features and improved them with LCS and VCS. Yeah, I know, I play it underaged, but if it was aimed for children, maybe they would lower the age limit yes?
