Snipe Sauce Posted July 16, 2008 Share Posted July 16, 2008 the fact that people look for endless amount of glitches in this game so early on after it's release is a testament to how pathetic and dissapointing this new gta is. also a testament to how pathetic this generation of gamers have become. I call for rockstar to be replaced by a new fresh proven team capable of bringing this series back to it's greatness again. TT1987, you got PWND! Anyway, I love GTA IV, but I think it's starting to lose its "touch." When I beat III, VC, and SA, I felt this awesome feeling that I had finally beaten the game. Now, in IV, I just said "finally" and haven't played that much since. I thought the storyline was a bit repetitive, too. Also, replay value sucks. People say there weren't many features in III and we still had tons of fun. That's because III was revolutionary. You could be a criminal and do whoever you want. That was new at the time. Now, going back to close to the same thing in terms of replay value seven years later, it's not nearly as fun. In San Andreas, you unlocked things as you progressed, like your pilot's license to finally fly a plane. There wasn't really anything to unlock in IV except for islands. Also, once you finished the game in SA, we could fly planes, jump off a cliff with a parachute, and do so many other kinds of fun stuff. Now in IV, you don't really have much except for multiplayer, which in my opinion gets a 7/10. The next GTA should really focus on replay value. LAUGH_INSURANCE Posted July 17, 2008 Share Posted July 17, 2008 I found another glitch after dating and taking a friend out. Sometimes after the date or taking a friend out just before that person goes back indoors, you can see undernealth them and Niko is if they are standing on a giant sheet of glass with a camera filming them from undernealth. Another glitch is sometimes when I drive fast through the tunnel that was used in Tunnel Of Death, the screen goes funny for a second as if I'm driving through a time tunnel or something. For example, the territory glitch in SA gave me another 10 solid hours of gameplay, and I got loads of nostalgia-points from visiting LC over and over. Take Liberty city and all the detail, then add the fact that as you can fly helecopters and look around on the x-y axis. The whole city has to be potentially viewed from ANY angle! Trust me, its f*cking amazing that they did such a good job. If there were no glitches then Rockstars programmers and testers are in league with Satan himself (or GTAaddictforever as I like to call him).
