flicko
f*cking crazy, all these gigantic 16 year olds. and wtf @ the topic starter? You're moaning about only being 5'7" at 14? I was about 5'2" at that age! I grew about a foot in a year, now I'm about 6'1" I'm 19. Damn, I only thought you were around 5'9"! Anyway, I'm 5'7" or somewhere arund there, and I'm seventeen. Don't think I'm going to grow anymore to be honest, I've been this tall since Year 8, when I was the tallest player in my football team. And now I'm smaller than most of them. I am actually surprised I'm this tall, my dad's 5'4", my mum's 5'0", my sister is 4'11", both of my Grandma's are also 4'11". One of my grandad's was 5'5" and the other was 5'3". And one of my Aunties is 4'6", so I don't exactly come from a tall family. Although one of my cousins is around 6'7".
Hurricane5
I'm just a bit taller than 6'. I'm almost 22, and still notice a little bit of growth in height. I was injured pretty bad when I was 15, damaged my growth plates. Never really grew in height since then. My father is 6' even, and my mother 5'6". My other half is 4'9". My father's side of the family were all over 6', and my mothers side were tall also. My grandfather on my father's side was about 5'8" and my grandmother was around 5'. Everyone else was a lot taller. My great grandfather on my father's side of the family was 6'6". My brother is 5'8" and his two sons are 6'2" and 6'2". And to answer your question, there is really no way to 'make' yourself any taller than your current height. All you can do is eat right, exercise, and take your vitamins. The only thing I could offer is to the extremely younger members of this forum wanting to be tall later in their life is to avoid any extreme injuries, eat right, get the proper amount of exercise, and make sure you have the proper intake of vitamins and minerals. There's not really much you can do beyond that.
Stefan.
172cm.Someone convert for me. You're 5 feet and 7.7 inches tall. One inch equal 2.54 centimetres, so you get your height (172cm) and divide by 2.54, to get 67.7, which is your height in inches. Considering there are 12 inches in a foot, your height is 5 feet and 8 inches (rounding off). So, instead of 5'7, you're in fact 5'8.

Struff Bunstridge
Frustratingly, I'm 5' 11'' and seven-eighths, meaning I'm about 3mm under 6 foot. I generally just say 6 foot though, it's much sexier.

Eddie280
I'm about 5'9 and I had better still be growing. I only just sort of shot up recently I'm only just 17. When I was 15 I was probably around 5'5 if not shorter. So don't get down about your height.

Paigey
You're all bloody giant! Imagine even complaining about being short when you're all over 6 foot half of you! I'm 16 next month, and I'm 5ft 4, I'm pretty much done growing, ever since I was 12 actually, but I'm a girl, so we're never as tall really, meh I don't care to be honest. Dunno why you're worried at all, everyone's different. Edited July 18, 2008 by Paigey
Tchuck
1.66m at 21. The best football striker in the world (Romário) was about the same height as me, so it's all good.

Machida
Nutboy increasing testosterone levels will speed up your growth spurt, you could do exercises like squats. Aslong as your not putting to much pressure on your bones. You can also do stretches aswell. Thats how the likes of basketball players get so tall, they're constantly stretching and using their thigh muscles (these being the largest muscles in the body, producing more testosterone). agent17
I'm 6' 3", they only way you can get any taller is if you have a special (and costly) surgery which could add one or two inches. You've still got a few more years to grow though. Height is based on genetics, you can't become tall. The chances are if your parents are both short you will almost diffidently be short. Eating healthy and drinking your milk has nothing to do with height. Unless if someone was extremely malnourished as a child, as their bodies would not have energy to create new tissues. But that's another story...

Machida
6' 3 and im 16. That's fiendishly tall for a Scot at 16. We don't seem to be as tall as we used to be.
