SephirothX Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 I had a rank 9 today fly the helicopter with me, another dude and Petrovic as high as it would go and then leave the game. This was over water so it wasn't even a quick end to the game. I made a note of the PSN ID and I'll be trying to kick him in future if I see him. I'm guessing he thought it would be cool because a fourth player was still at the airport trying to find a helicopter (he didn't try to get in ours). It seems griefers come in all ranks. To anyone who does that... f*ck you i got there first =] because its really annoying when u drive all the way to the annihilators and then fly all the way back to petrovics jet and u c some dumbass tryin to park a stupid noose van to pick him up when they can clearly see that your trying to land the chopper to pick him up. Then get the NOOSE van get Petrovic and go to the helicopters. Quickest way by far. I've had people shoot down my chopper, refuse to get in the vehicle with me, grenade me or drive off over me when I'm covering them. Hangman's NOOSE is definately better with some people you know and know what they are doing. I think it's because they don't agree with how you get Petrovic. See, if yer playing on Xbox, there's an achievement for completing Hangman's NOOSE in a quick time, and your method is slower than just let two guys fight off NOOSE members and have the third guy get to the final destination with a chopper and the last one pick Petrovic and the first two guys in another chopper. What I meant was, as soon as the game starts, someone takes the baggage cart and goes to the helicopters, brings back the chopper to petrovic's jet, picks up petrovic and the other 2 players. SephirothX Posted July 23, 2008 Share Posted July 23, 2008 I got so annoyed with a group today (left me to die by Petrovic's jet instead of waiting two seconds for me to get into the van) that I turned on friendly fire in the next game and started killing them. Funny enough, the guy who left me failed the mission yet the third guy got all the kills on him, while I killed the third guy twice. I'm surprised we managed to win the mission, I had to drive there on a bike due to the chaos at the helicopter area. I recommend this if you want an alternative to killing Petrovic. I then go and land near the start so the other guys can get on board and they just grenade or shoot it. It's bloody pathetic you get the same money whoever delivers him. SephirothX Posted July 24, 2008 Share Posted July 24, 2008 (edited) What bugs me is when people don't understand that getting out at the far right chopper when a couple of police cars/vans are nearby has a high chance of failure, likewise at the far left. What also bugs me is when people who can't fly a chopper insist on flying one instead of getting in yours that is waiting for them or the people who try to get into your chopper when you have Petrovic. The guy who drove Petrovic should get priority as it delays the flight if you get to the door and find someone else beat you in by a second. Petrovic tends to stand around after that while you try to find a seat and in the meantime he's likely to start getting shot. Then there's the people who force Petrovic to run round the chopper rather than themselves. Most of my failures tend to be due to people not understanding the most efficient way to get from the van to the chopper flight. Also, why does the game end when there's only one player remaining? Chopper fights would be fun if the guns actually did something worthwhile. They don't seem very powerful. And don't get me started on Cops and Crooks lol. Recently had a boss who was AFK. And it annoys me when there's a body armour near the start and people don't let the boss take it. I'll add you on PSN when I get the chance. Mine is SephirothX. SephirothX Posted July 26, 2008 Share Posted July 26, 2008 Had a guy today blow up two helicopters and get off in the third leaving the rest of us and Petrovic about to get swarmed by cops. Only two people wanted to kick him after the game so I did one of my specials. Waited until everyone pressed to start, then turned on friendly fire and started the game (all quick so he wouldn't notice). I slaughtered him three times in the first 30 seconds. He was too busy spamming kick on me to try defend the third. I've never seen someone leave so quick. It might sound mean but I have a zero tolerance policy for griefers. And on different note, the time/money gained stats are so messed up. My best time has gone from like 2:45 to 3:28. 2:45 wasn't even my best time.
