Yeah, apparently the PC problem was a GFWL issue as well.

 

If you've downloaded it already, you can delete it then re-download it from the link in your purchased items list. It apparently works now.

 

BUT, if you slept in and missed the boat, like me, you'll have to f*cking wait until they get around to rehosting the link. f*cking microsoft goddamned bloatware.

I don't plan on buying the PC version thankfully, from what I have read that has had the most troubles, especially with DLC. Other than Operation Anchorage, I haven't bought any of the DLC packs for PC. So far I have just bought the packs on the 360 and used AddAchievement to grab myself the achievements for the PC DLC packs (which is allowed, before that whole argument strikes up).

 

EDIT: Damn, I had forgotten that I deleted Operation Anchorage to free up space on my 360 HDD. The Chinese Stealth Suit would have come in handy just now, had to fight my way through tunnels filled with Deathclaws.

Edit: Just about to complete the 'Take it Back' quest so is there really any difference to the Broken Steel experience depending on what out come i choose in the last mission?

Yeah, kind of. If you let Lyons go in for you, Elder Lyons almost guilt trips you as you wake up from the coma, and the "Aqua Cura" quest guy is a prick. Not sure what happens if you put in the FEV Virus, or go in yourself

It's still at the 1% mark. I'm getting quite annoyed at it, and i know it's not my connection as everything else seems to be running so smoothly.

I remember people reporting this happening when The Lost and Damned was released, people were saying that their download would stick at 1% and then all of a sudden shoot up, so it's probably just a matter of leaving your console on and waiting, like you said.

That girl (can't remember here name) that goes to the water purifier with you gets knocked unconscious along with you but has yet to wake up.

Yeah, when I woke up it was Elder Lyons saying how he was positive that Sarah Lyons didn't want you to give your life to save the Wasteland, and sacrificed herself to save you out of the kindness of her heart. Definitely not the truth.

Doubt it's got anything to do with the traffic, i got in from work at 6pm and stuck the 360 on and downloaded it straight away, no problems at all.

 

Plus i reckon the majority would of downloaded it in the morning or early afternoon.

I just noticed something really lame with the ranks.

 

Not only do you not get a new one till rank 22, and you only get a new perk on every even number.

 

Worst of all, you can only choose one at rank 30 out of Almost Perfect and Nuclear Anomaly. I want both god damnit. The two cool ones and I cant get them. Thats just f*cking stupid. I will probably make a save just before, just incase but still ill test both.

Regarding your earlier post about the effect of adding the FEV to the water supply - I added it on this save and it's made the Aqua Pura poisonous to my character. Three or four bottles was enough to kill me. What I'm having trouble with is the fact that everyone else seems to be guzzling the sh*t with no ill effects. That is a major continuity f*ckup, IMO.

 

Aside from that, it's great so far. I can't f*cking wait to get my hands on Callahan's Magnum.

If you mean the Downloadable content updates then no you have to pay for them just like the console peeps.

 

Hope you console peeps are having fun, I sure as hell aren't due to Microsoft's crappy GFWL system! Another reason why PC games should not be subjected to the same system as the 360! Why can't F3 use Steam!

I should have skived work today.

 

I spent 45 minutes on the rank up screen in total last night.

 

Wasnt sure what to get. I tried out paralizing palm which OWNED, I fisted moira brown (before reloading a save) and she fell down dead like a mannequin in a running motion, then I booted her body in vats with my foot.

 

Pryo perk I tested, it made the heavy incinerator just insane, not that it wasnt already. I guess I will get that, finesse and concerntrated fire later on.

 

I saw a mutant overlord near the drainage tunnel next to the bridge that leads from the citadel to the city. Those things are hard man. Like 5 lincolns repeater shots to kill it.

 

Definately gunna need callahan's magnum.

 

The rest of the new weapons sound sh*t.

Yeah, that's meant to be a feature I think, just don't click Data Files and it still loads, etc.

I got that problem too when I updated to 1.4 because I have too many mods, you can solve this problem with the help of this mods. Click the Anchorage to force this DLC enable.
