Finished the game today, what a f*cking cheap ending.

Yeah, I don't like the ending, why Fawkes didn't want to take protagonist place. Radioactive didn't affect him.

Yeah but you have to take into a count that the player could of killed Fawkes or didn't use him as a follower and chose someone else as a follower when completing the last mission.

You can't really base a story ending on a follower, although they could of done a couple more alternative endings.

Potato Boggle
The Pitt Trailer.

Looks awesome, liking the look of the Pitt actually, very dark, and some of the new weapons look pretty damn cool as well.

It's cool to finally see my city in a game.

The ending is going to change though with the last DLC. Boy i can't wait for that. Hell, the reason why i bought this game for the PC is for the DLC and i already bought Operation: Anchorage. i loved it but it was really sort but what do expect about a expansion for 10 bucks?

I'm pretty sure PS3 gets the edited ending too, along with the level cap extension, in a patch.

Those are both vital parts of the Broken Steel DLC.

Hell, if you get those, you might as well get the DLC altogether.

Not really. The DLC adds a whole extra part onto the story exclusively for 360 and PC. It'd be unfair to hold back the small updates to the original game for PS3.

I think Bethesda should just patch them into the PS3 version, it would be way more fare on the user base of the PS3 rather then denying them the ability to play on afterwards and to have an increased level cap.

Amen to you guys, I was going to finish up giving those fingers to that certain person, guess that won't happen anytime soon.

I play this game again, and it's real pain for intro and survival book mission, so I have this mission where you come to place all the resident are children, one of the children offer to sell Weezer Wiffle something like that, should I buy it, or it's just Laser Riffle?

The Wazzer Wifle, or however it's spelt, is a unique Laser Rifle, does more damage and holds more ammo i think, if you have the child at heart perk you can get it for free.

Another question, I discover an abandon funfair(i think), managed to get inside with charisma skill, and I went further, two kids running. One of them got his head blown, so I talked to other one, he want me to help them escape, but how? I can't even find the warlord there.

That is paradise falls where the slavers live. Go throug the main gate and talk to a guy named eulogy, he is the big boss. Go to Little Lamplight and ask t get in and you will get the quest where you have to rescue those kids to gain entry. You can either buy the kids or you can ask the kids themselves how to save them.

I still wasn't able to discover all places in map, so I'm curios, is there any other vault that still contain human, not radioactive-infected one.

I believe there is a Vault full of clones of one guy called Gary.

@Daz: lol.gif Where did you find that? It's brilliant!

I agree, that DLC looks very, very nice. I especially like the fact that it seems to be much less of a wasteland than the D.C. ruins, which had almost no population centres, while this DLC seems to be an industrial, urban setting.

Btw, I'm amused by the title of the DLC, "The Pitt". I thought it was supposed to be called "The Pit", because the word "pitt" is not the best word in Swedish when it comes to naming a product, it meaning something like the English word "prick" (male genetalia), and major companies usually check the meaning of a word in various languages before naming their products...

Ha ha, that's awesome

Even here, it still makes me think of armpits everytime I read it...

"The Pitt" is short for Pittsburgh, the setting of the DLC. Though it's obviously supposed to be a pun from "The Pit". That is sweet though.

Trailer was f*cking awesome.

I wonder if Operation Anchorage will get a price cut anytime soon seeing as the The Pitt is out pretty soon, i heard Operation Anchorage is not very long and last time i bought something for 800 points was Fable 2's DLC which lasted not even an hour.

It is an OK length, well worth getting IMO, plus it gives you some awesome loot to use in the rest of the game, get it, you won't regret it.

Well I think they are hinting at the fact that "The Pitt" is really Pittsburgh. See:

Yes, I am well aware that it's set in Pittsburgh, PA. That sign is even shown in the trailer.

I consulted Wikipedia and came up with a few other interesting (?) references:

* The Pitt (a Marvel Comics book telling the story of the destruction of Pittsburgh)

* Plutonium pit (the core of a nuclear weapon)

* Trapping pit (for humans, in this case, in a figurative sense)

* Ball pit (hehe, maybe not)

Not to mention that VATS makes for some amazing sequences. I love the fast motion punch with a slow-mo impact sequence they have.
